Rakuten’s Big Stack Campaign is back with 15% cash back on purchases

Rakuten’s biggest cash back event of the year – Big Stack Event – is back from October 6-8. And, you don’t want to accidentally miss some legal offers in an early sale.

Currently, Rakuten is offering high cash discount bonuses to retailers such as Petsmart, Dermstore, Lululemon, Bergdorf Goodman, Athleta, Getyourguide, Bombas, Samsonite, etc.

With Rakuten, you can also earn American Express membership bonus points as needed instead of cash back. So instead of getting a 15% cashback, you will reward points for every 15 Amex membership spent. If you maximize points with Amex Travel Partners, you can generate higher overall value.

Plus, while the big stack campaign is promoting a 15% cashback, we found some quotes as high as 20%.

Those with new Rakuten can now get better deals and get a $50 bonus on the first 50 spent on qualified retailers. This is higher than the regular recommendation bonus for new users.

Here is what you need to know about Rakuten’s cash tossing opportunities.

Increase cash back with Rakuten

To earn cash rewards or membership reward points when shopping online, start shopping on the Rakuten website.

Once there, search for the store you need and click to redirect to the retailer’s website. After making a qualified purchase, Rakuten will usually track your transactions within a few days and add rewards to your account.

Here are some retailers offering 10%-20% cashbacks through Rakuten during their big stack event from October 6-8:

The best credit cards for online shopping

Rakuten users will earn any proceeds from cash and reward credit cards used by selected retailers. Among most merchants participating in these promotions, you need to pay with a credit card that earns bonuses and miles on daily purchases, such as:

Rakuten also released its first credit card earlier this year. The Rakuten American Express® card is an unfamiliar fee card that is paid on top of Rakuten’s revenue, $4 (or 4% cash back), 10 points per dollar (or 10% cash back on Rakuten’s restaurant partners), 2 points per dollar (or 2% cash (or 2% cash) paid on Groceries and Restaurants and Restaurants and Restals and 1% selling price (or 1% cash), or 1% other expenses spent.

Information on the Rakuten American Express card has been collected independently by Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.

Bottom line

Whether you’re shopping early or booking a last-minute trip, it’s time to take advantage of the opportunity to increase your cash. To make sure you choose the right option and get the best reward for planning purchases, compare all the different cash reserve sites before purchasing, as Rakuten is not always the best option.

Remember that new Rakuten shoppers can earn $50 in cash bonuses when spending at least $50 in a qualified purchase within the first 90 days of becoming a member.

Many of the qualified merchants of these promotions also participated in the credit card merchant offers. So it’s wise to check if the merchants are offering quotes before purchasing through AMEX offers, Chase Elast, Citi Merchant Evers and American Airlines Aadvantage’s SimplyMiles Program.
