Contemporary Australian and New Zealand photographers define ‘exposure’ – Colossal

A new book features the work of 40 contemporary photographers, covering a variety of genres from portraits to landscapes to wildlife. exposure: contemporaryy Photographers in Australia and New ZealandWritten by Amber Creswell-Bell, it highlights a range of practices exploring fashion, Aboriginal culture, nature and more.
Published by Thames & Hudson Australia, exposure “Captures the essence of modern photography, showcasing bold perspectives, striking landscapes and intimate portraits that reflect the cultural richness and natural beauty of the region,” a statement said.
Photography that may be familiar to Colossal readers includes the bird portraits of Leila Jeffreys and Joseph McGlennon, and the artistic self-portraits of Atong Atem.
