Stupid interview mistakes: Appearing unmotivated | Job Radio

I can’t think of a worse interview mistake than this!
10 common resume mistakes to avoid
Hi, I’m Jeff Altman, Big Game Hunter. I’m the head coach at JobSearchCoachingHQ.com. I was talking to a friend of mine who is a recruiter. She works all over the country.
She was talking about a mission she was on in Puerto Rico. In this assignment, she was asked to interview call center workers. She was also asked to assess oral and written communication skills.
So she did it. She discovered that some people are talkative and some are not as talkative as you might imagine. She also noticed that some well-spoken people were being rejected by hiring managers.
She and her partner were asking, why? Why are these people rejected? It is difficult to find native English speakers in Puerto Rico. Any questions? Then she talked to a few hiring managers and found the magic answer. Judging from the title of this video, you can tell that it looks unmotivated.
Put yourself in the hiring manager’s shoes. The hiring manager has a question. They want someone who can solve this problem.
Now, I know Puerto Rico is hot. The association with heat is lethargic. It’s hot outside.
I just feel so down and it’s hard to move around. Too bad.
Career Management Mistakes: 10 Things You May Be Doing Wrong
Get over it. All you need to do is show excitement and motivation throughout the interview. No matter what job you’re interviewing for, no matter where in the world it is, appearing sluggish, listless, or, dare I say, even lazy and unmotivated is the kiss of death.
The employer has a problem. You solve it there. They are not here to kiss your ass and make you fall in love with them.
They want you to clamor for the job, beg for the job, and be excited about the job, even if you’re not. You want this too. That way, you get a lot of job opportunities, you know, a lot of job opportunities.
Then you can say, okay, I think I am the one who pays the most, or it does not pay the most, but it has the best benefits, or it does not pay the most. But I don’t have to work. . . Whatever it is, you can choose between different alternatives. Act unmotivated and stupid, take your right hand, move it near your forehead, and hit now.
Don’t do anything so stupid. If you’re doing something stupid like this, you need JobSearchCoachingHQ.com, which is my website where you can get tons of useful information to help you find a job. Because finding a job doesn’t have to be hard, difficult, painful, or take that long.
