Adobe Learning Summit 2025 Highlights

The 2025 Adobe Learning Summit has just concluded, and we’re still excited about all the great conversations, insights, and connections that took place. If you were there, you know what we’re talking about. If you missed it, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered with all the great stuff.

This year’s summit is special. We dive deep into AI workflows, explore accessibility-first design, discover new gamification strategies, and learn how to create content faster than ever.

But most importantly, we are connected as a community of learning professionals navigating this exciting (and sometimes overwhelming) transition.

Here are some of our favorite moments from the three days.

Day 0: Mastering Adobe Captivate

Before the main event, 120 dedicated professionals Attended a one-day Adobe Captivate training as Adobe Certified Professional Program. They spent the day building the skills they need to create the learning experiences of tomorrow.

Day 1: Reshaping our relationship with artificial intelligence

The 2025 Adobe Learning Summit is hosted by Jeremy Utley, adjunct professor of artificial intelligence and design thinking at Stanford University. his speech about “Realizing the Potential of AI” reshaped attendees’ perspectives on AI in learning and development.

“The only correct answer to ‘How often do you use AI’ is ‘I don’t use AI. I work with AI'” he said. “Our language masks our thought patterns. This simple shift from ‘use it’ to ‘use it’ is actually an important and profound shift.”

Jeremy believes that when we “use” artificial intelligence, it is a tool that we control. When we “work” with AI, it becomes a partner. This changes everything about how we integrate it into learning design.

And then there’s the phrase that everyone keeps saying over and over again: “Confusion is the price of happiness.”

Jeremy reminds us that most organizations claim they want breakthrough ideas, but we’re all afraid of sounding stupid. If avoiding mistakes is your main goal, you won’t get innovative thinking. Great ideas require volume and variety, even if some of them sound silly at first.

It was the perfect start to a summit focused on experimentation and pushing boundaries.

After the keynote speech, attendees were divided into four dedicated breakout sessions:

  • Adobe obsessed
  • multimedia
  • Learning experience design
  • learning strategies

The Expo venue is buzzing with energy thanks to our amazing sponsors: CoSo Cloud, Harbinger, Training Mag, PwC, Cognizant and CarahSoft. Conversations flowed freely, presentations were impressive, and connections were made.

As the first day comes to an end, a networking reception gives everyone a chance to decompress, share insights, and start building relationships that will last long after the summit ends.

Day 2: Put ideas into action

The second day begins with a fireside chat Dr. Majd Sakr, CLO, Accenture and Amit Dayal, Vice President and General Manager, Adobe. They bring practical, actionable perspectives that perfectly complement Jeremy’s theoretical framework.

Dr. Sakr offers powerful reminders on how to align learning with business priorities:

“I think all of us in the learning process sometimes don’t have a good understanding of what executives are worried about right now. We need to think through their minds. So they’re thinking: How do I stay relevant? How do I make sure I don’t lose market share or gain market share? How do I become more efficient and more profitable? Are my people ready to achieve our ambitious goals? And then how do I do that without putting myself at risk and do it in an ethical way? Those are the things companies need to do.” Top management is currently considering it. “

Dr. Sakr also outlined a practical three-dimensional framework for artificial intelligence in learning:

  1. How do we support learners?
  2. How do we quickly create high-quality content that fits the learner context?
  3. How do we measure whether learning is effective?

Breakout sessions on Artificial Intelligence in Learning and Industry Practice turn theory into reality with real-life examples from practitioners across a range of industries.

we heard Carlos Alfaro and Eric Prospero (Ninja Tropic) About AI-enhanced microlearning, Joe Leslie (Goering) About his 5DI framework for rapid content development, Adam Beardslee (Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan) About budget-friendly gamification, Ashley Tierney (Illinois) About expanding accessibility-first design, and BeHai Ligas (Salesforce) Integrating artificial intelligence into curriculum development.

Each course contains practical key points that you can start using immediately.

Throughout the summit, Captivate Migration Help Desk Provide hands-on support to attendees as they transition projects from Captivate Classic to the new version.

For some customers, migration works very well. For others, the engineering team gathered valuable feedback on features needed to make the migration process smoother, a perfect example of the collaborative spirit that defined the entire event.

Summarize

The summit concluded with a raffle drawing a total of three prizes. It was a fun way to end an intense few days of learning and connecting. People go home with new strategies, valuable connections, and a better understanding of where learning and development are headed. The energy, insights and connections from these three days will have a ripple effect for months to come.

See you next time at the Adobe Learning Summit!
