LifeTrend Alta 2-in-1 Hot and Cold Plunge and Pro 6 Infrared Sauna Now Available in Home Fitness Centers

Recycling equipment has arrived at our showroom

If you’ve been paying attention to the world of wellness, you’ve probably noticed that there are cold tubs and saunas everywhere. Professional athletes swear by them. Fitness influencers post about their ice bath routines every day. Research on the benefits of recovery continues to grow. Amenities previously reserved for elite training facilities are now available at home, and you can see it all at At Home Fitness.

We added cold water tubs and infrared saunas to our Arizona showroom because our customers continued to request them. When a lot of people want something, we listen. Like other products we offer, we’ve gone to great lengths to provide you with quality options that you can actually test before buying.

LifeTrend Alta 2-in-1 Hot and Cold Soak

LifeTrend Alta is more than just a cold plunge pool. It’s a versatile 2-in-1 system that can cool water to 37°F for cold therapy or heat water to 102°F for warm water relaxation. This flexibility means you get two recovery modes in one unit, perfect for contrasting treatments or to suit your needs on any given day.

The Alta measures 77 inches long x 31.5 inches wide x 30 inches high and holds 61 gallons of water. Weighs 293 lbs. The unit has a dry weight and galvanized steel frame for durability. It runs on standard 110V/60Hz household power, so no special electrical work is required during installation.

What sets Alta apart is its focus on water quality and user experience. A Balboa chiller maintains precise temperatures, while a Gecko circulation pump keeps water flowing for optimal filtration. A built-in UV ozone generator and 50-square-foot filtration system ensure the water is clean and safe without the need for ongoing chemical maintenance. Full foam shell insulation and a 2.4-inch thick high-insulation cover effectively maintain your set temperature.

Alta also includes built-in Bluetooth speakers so you can listen to music or guided breathing exercises during training, underwater mood lighting to create ambiance, and a textured walk-in pool that includes steps for safe entry and exit. Color options include Snow White exterior and Snow White or Black interior.

Pro 6 Infrared Sauna

We’ve partnered with Pro 6 to bring their line of near-zero EMF far-infrared saunas to our showroom. These are not the steam saunas you might remember from the gym. Infrared saunas heat your body directly rather than the air around you, which many users find more comfortable and easier to breathe. The near-zero EMF design solves the problem of electromagnetic field exposure during extended use.

All Pro 6 models feature natural hemlock wood construction, snap-on components for easier installation, built-in FM radio with Bluetooth and MP3 connectivity, interior and exterior LED control panels, bronze privacy tempered glass doors, and interior chromotherapy lighting with red light therapy options. They use standard household electrical service, which makes them suitable for most Arizona homes.

Why people use infrared saunas

Infrared sauna users report a variety of health benefits. Because far-infrared heat penetrates deep into joints, muscles, and tissues rather than just warming the air, many people find relief from muscle pain and joint stiffness after regular exercise. Deep heat increases blood circulation and oxygen flow throughout the body, supporting the natural recovery process.

In addition to benefits for muscles and joints, infrared sauna sessions are often used for detoxification, stress reduction, and relaxation. Sweating during training helps remove impurities, while the warmth and quiet environment allows you to escape daily stress and fatigue. Some users also report improvements in skin appearance and overall energy levels with continued use.

While individual results vary, the growing popularity of infrared saunas reflects how many people are incorporating them into their health habits to support weight management, immune system benefits, and overall relaxation. Our team can answer your questions about how the use of an infrared sauna fits your health and fitness goals.

Combination of hot and cold

Many of our clients are interested in alternating hot and cold contrast therapy. The practice originated in Nordic bathing culture and is now supported by modern research showing enhanced recovery, improved circulation and potential immune benefits.

Having both a sauna and a cold bath at home allows you to create your own recovery regimen. The heat of a sauna opens blood vessels and relaxes muscles. Cold water constricts blood vessels and reduces inflammation. The circulation between the two creates a pump effect that may help flush metabolic waste and deliver nutrients to tired muscles.

If you are considering both, then a visit to our showroom makes more sense. We can help you consider placement, electrical requirements, and how the two units will work together in your available space.

Why buy recycling equipment locally

Cold tubs and saunas are important purchases, and buying them online comes with real risks. If these items don’t live up to expectations, you can’t easily return them. Shipping damage occurs. Assembly can be complicated. If something goes wrong after six months, good luck getting support from an online-only seller.

When you purchase from At Home Fitness, you’ll receive the same service we’ve provided to Arizona families for over 20 years. We offer local delivery and assembly so your equipment is ready to use upon arrival. If you have questions or problems in the future, you know where to find us. Peace of mind is important when you invest in equipment that you plan to use for many years.

Plus, you can try before you buy. Learn about the construction of a cold water tub. See for yourself the actual dimensions, not just the dimensions on the spec sheet. Ask our team the questions that matter to you. It’s the hassle-free experience we’ve built our reputation on.
