American Express has launched a new way to help small business owners save with one of the most useful digital tools.
The issuer has added a Squarespace statement credit worth up to $150 per calendar year for purchases made through Squarespace in the United States. American Express® Business Gold Card. Now available to new and existing card members (registration required).

Since Squarespace plans range from $192 to $1,668 per year, this new benefit covers about 78 percent of the base-level base annual plan, significantly offsetting the card’s $375 annual fee (see Rates and Fees).
Enrollment for the benefit is now open, and once activated, you’ll earn up to $150 in statement credits each calendar year when you use your Business Gold Card to pay for eligible Squarespace purchases in the U.S.
Given that this is a calendar year benefit, cardmembers can use $150 of the benefit this year and then another $150 after January 1, netting $300 in one cardmember year.

This new benefit joins two other points to help commercial gold Pay by yourself (registration required):
- Get up to $240 back per year (up to $20 back per month) on qualifying purchases at U.S. FedEx, Grubhub and office supply stores
- Get up to $155 back per year with a monthly Walmart+ membership (auto-renewable) (up to $12.95 plus applicable taxes on membership fees; Plus Up benefits are not eligible)

If you take advantage of these three benefits, which currently total up to $545 in potential points per year, their value will easily exceed the card’s annual fee.
