New Hyatt Hotel in Rome Opening Soon, Bookable with 12,000 World of Hyatt Points

The Eternal City is getting a brand new hotel right in the heart of the city, which is a great option for redeeming World of Hyatt points.

The Hyatt Regency Rome Center will open on February 3, 2026, just a few blocks from Roma Termini Train Station on the historic Esquiline Hill. The Colosseum and the popular Monti neighborhood are within easy walking distance.

Best of all, redemption rates for Hyatt loyalty memberships start at just 12,000 points. I recently stayed at Hyatt Regency hotels in Mexico City and Chicago and loved their modern design, efficient service, and spacious rooms. The redemption at a brand new hotel seemed like the only reason to book a flight to Rome. (Okay, so are pizza, pasta and incredible architecture.)

The Hyatt Regency Rome Center will open in February and will have 238 rooms, including 20 suites. All rooms feature premium amenities such as bathrobes and slippers, as well as elegant bathrooms with marble sinks and jade green tiled showers.

A unique feature of the hotel is the heated rooftop swimming pool, a rarity in Rome, especially in the city centre. There is also a poolside bar and lounge – one of the hotel’s four dining options. Other options include Asian-inspired Niroma, Italian-American breakfast bar and evening bar space Ciao, Brooklyn!, and all-day lobby lounge and bar Juno.
