They’re not expecting a serious answer, although if you come up with something relevant to your job, that’s great! They didn’t expect you to say: “I want the superpower of analysis.“
You can jokingly say, “Well…well, yes, I wish I had the superpower of flying so I could get work done faster!” They both laughed at some point. This takes away some of the seriousness of the conversation.
I also want to remind you that you can usually ask them questions. When this happens, I want to encourage you to ask them,”What superpower are you looking for?” Their answers may tell you a lot about what their expectations are.
