38 Deadly Interview Mistakes to Avoid
How can I use recruiter questions about other interviews to my advantage? To your advantage, this is a critical part of the problem. I think the only way is, number one, not to mention any specific company at all. So, the idea became, hey, I’ve been talking to a few companies.
I’ve lined up a second and third time with different organizations, but we’re not yet at the point where I think they’re going to make an offer. Which companies are you negotiating with? I’d rather not mention this now. I don’t think this is particularly relevant, but I’ve been talking to a few companies.
I arranged a second and third time with some of them. So, what kind of company is this? Again, I don’t want to mention specific names. Now, if they really pressure you, you can say, one of the companies starts with R and the other company starts with T. Now, that’s not even necessarily true.
Just listen to me. But you want to prove that the company is interested in you because, like dating, people who others want are more attractive to others. It’s just part of human nature.
So how you use this to your advantage is really limited to proving that other companies think you’re an attractive candidate and that they’re interested in you. And they haven’t gotten to the point of proposing to you yet. But you do have an interest in them and look forward to them. . . Well, you do have an interest in them.
Let’s leave it at that. OK? So, this is the only way I can think of to use answering this question to your advantage. Now, folks, while you’re watching this, of course, you can watch this later and contribute, put your thoughts into the chat on YouTube, LinkedIn, or send me a message on LinkedIn (linkedin.com/in/TheBigGameHunter) and tell me exactly what your thoughts are on how this could be used.
