Park Hyatt Los Cabos Cabo Del Sol Now Open

One of the most exciting new hotel openings on our list for 2025 is the Park Hyatt Los Cabos in Cabo del Sol, Mexico. Located in the exclusive seaside enclave of Cabo del Sol, perched on a rocky cliff above the Sea of Cortez, the hotel is now open after several delays.
Although the hotel is open, some of the first guests said landscaping work is still underway, the spa has not yet opened and some guest rooms and residences at the resort are still under construction. Still, if you’re hoping to check out one of the year’s most exciting new hotels, now might be the perfect opportunity to do so before the crowds arrive.

Prices at Park Hyatt Los Cabos Cabo del Sol
The resort is a World of Hyatt Category 8 property, so room bonus rates range from 35,000-45,000 points per night and standard suites range from 56,000-66,000 points per night. Upon completion, the hotel will have 163 rooms and suites and 19 residences.
Currently, stays in December can only be booked using points for standard suites.

You will find that there is only one standard room award night available in January.

But standard room award space becomes more plentiful in April and beyond, with April stays priced at 40,000 or 45,000 points. If you have flexibility in your travel dates, use Hyatt’s convenient Points Calendar for off-peak, standard and peak dates.

At the same time, paid rates are becoming more reasonable in June and beyond. Even so, prices start at $1,152 per night, double occupancy.

The resort’s rooms and suites look bright, airy and thoroughly modern. Entry-level rooms start at 649 square feet and feature a patio or patio, soaking tub, walk-in shower, 55-inch TV with Chromecast and all the luxury amenities you’re accustomed to at a Park Hyatt. For more space, you can stay in larger suites with pools or even in one- and two-bedroom villas with private pools, living rooms, and kitchens.
You’ll find some off-peak bonuses between August and October. During these months, daytime temperatures tend to stay in the 90s, but you can expect sweltering temperatures, heavy rain, and thunderstorms.
