If you want to get more interviews and are applying for jobs online, ditch the objective statement. Focus on keyword-rich snippets that are relevant to the position they want to fill.
They don’t care what you’re looking for until they’re interested in hiring you, or at least going out on a date with you, and by that I mean an interview. Once they’re interested, they start talking about dowry – you know, salary, benefits, vacation, and all the other stuff that has to do with why you should join. But it doesn’t matter to them what you want until they want you.
