Employee recommendation? Recommended by the company’s caring employees! Here’s why.

You don’t need a job description

How seriously does the company value employee recommendations? I’m Jeff Altman, big game hunter. I want to talk to you about this today. I’m a coach who’s been in the search industry for over 40 years, filling a ton of positions, and if you’ve been in this field for a while, you know that companies like to save money.

One of the ways they save money is through employee referrals instead of agency fees. What can employee referrals provide that recruiters cannot? The answer is a testimony. It’s like going on Facebook, LinkedIn and seeing all the likes and comments supporting someone.

Now, of course, the proviso is, do you trust the person giving the recommendation, or are they just another moron on your staff? If you are a fool, it has no value. However, they probably know you and your tastes so they can make good recommendations. in spite of.

Companies like employee referrals because they provide referrals and reduce costs. Some companies pay employee referral bonuses, so they may be willing to pay $5,000 or $1,000 as a referral bonus rather than $20,000, $25,000, or $30,000 as an agency fee. Well, if they don’t have an agent coming, that’s okay.

It’s a cheap referral source and they love that. I’m Jeff Altman. I hope you find this helpful.
