Capital One is returning to South Beach and will host a series of events during Miami Art Week. Capital One has teamed up with Cultivist and artist Alex Prager to bring the immersive experience of Mirage Factory to The Shelborne By Proper in Miami Beach.
If you’re a Capital One Venture X Rewards credit card or Capital One Venture X Business cardholder, you’ll have access to some exclusive events.
Here’s what you can expect.

Event overview
Capital One will host events December 1-6. A major highlight is Mirage Factory, an immersive pop-up experience designed by Alex Prager in which The Shelborne will be transformed into a journey through the ages in Los Angeles.
The installation will be open to the public on December 4 and 5.
However, there are also many cardholder-only events taking place during Shelburne Miami Art Week, including:
- Dinner with Chef Dave Beran at Mirage Factory on December 2*
- Martinis served at Mirage Factory on December 4th*
- prime time party: Enjoy free snacks and drinks and live music poolside from 4 to 6 p.m., December 3-5
- Evening Sound Sessions: Enjoy the energetic sounds of nightly DJs at Shelborne Bar from 2-5 December, 10pm-12am
- Wellness Program: Daily wellness classes at different times of the week

How to access these events
To participate in these activities, you need to hold Venture X or Venture X Business. If you’re not currently a cardholder, now might be a good time to apply, as both cards offer a limited-time welcome offer.
- Capital One Ventures X: Earn 100,000 bonus miles when you spend $10,000 in purchases within the first six months of account opening.
- Capital One VenturesX Business: Earn up to 400,000 bonus miles – Earn 200,000 bonus miles when you spend US$30,000 in the first three months of account opening, and earn an additional 200,000 bonus miles when you spend US$150,000 in the first six months.
At the time of writing, tickets for several events were sold out, but tickets for more events were later added and sold out again. So keep an eye out to see if another batch of tickets appears soon.
If you are considering attending, I highly recommend paying cash for your tickets as the value of redeeming 25,000 miles is very low.
Plus, as a Venture X cardholder, you can enjoy 50% off a Cultivist Enthusiast membership for up to two years. The membership includes benefits such as free museum visits, private museum hours and access to the Cultivist app.
Shelbourne Hotel
Shelborne By Proper is a historic Art Deco oceanfront hotel in South Beach that is part of the Capital One Premier Collection, its luxury hotel booking platform. When Venture X and Venture Business X cardholders book a hotel through Premier Collection, they will receive premium benefits such as:
- $100 experience credit
- Daily breakfast for two persons
- Room upgrade (if available)
- Early check-in and late check-out (if available)
These benefits can further enhance your experience during Arts Week.

Other Capital One Exclusive Events
This is not the first time Capital One has hosted an exclusive event as they have already hosted several cardholder exclusive events and will be hosting many more this year. Some activities include:
