The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami reopens after $100 million renovation and you can book with 67,000 points

What would a $100 million renovation look like? You’ll find out when you head to The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami.
The luxury shoreline hotel, located on 17 acres in prime Miami, has been closed since May to undergo a multi-million dollar renovation. But starting Dec. 8, Marriott Bonvoy-affiliated hotels will reopen, just in time for the busy holiday season.
The improvements were a true team effort, completed in partnership with hotel developer Gencom and three different design studios (Hart Howerton, DesignAgency and Chapi Chapo Design).
Guests will immediately notice the changes brought about by the hotel’s first major renovation in nearly 25 years. First, the lobby is as fresh as ever, with a new sea-facing glass facade, new sculptural lighting and a beautiful oasis-like fountain terrace.

The resort’s new The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Key Biscayne will offer co-ed relaxation spaces, multiple treatment rooms and an outdoor garden area to relax before or after soothing spa treatments. At the fitness center, Miami-based fitness brand Tremble will offer carefully curated workout programs.

In addition, the resort’s Cliff Drysdale Tennis Center will reopen, featuring tennis courts, pickleball courts and paddle courts.

After so much activity, food may come to mind. When the hotel reopens, selections will include Italian-style Luma; Greek and Turkish-focused Paralia; RumBar, the hotel’s lobby bar; a beach bar called Dune; and a wood-fired pizzeria by the pool. There will also be an ice cream parlor, a chocolate shop and an outpost of local wellness center Pura Vida Miami.

For the little ones in the family, The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami will also reopen with the new Ritz Kids Club, an interactive experience.
“For generations, The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami has provided a resort defined by elegance and effortless luxury where unforgettable memories are made, from romantic getaways to family vacations,” said Derek Flint, general manager of marketing for the hotel, in a statement. “This next chapter builds on that legacy—celebrating the art of slowing down, connecting deeply, and finding beauty in every moment. [the] The energy of the city and the eternal rhythm of the ocean. “
