First look at Chase’s new Sapphire Lounge in Las Vegas — complete with champagne room

How does it sound to relax in the Champagne Room with bar cart service and enjoy Momofuku tapas on your credit card?

If this is your winning way to spend time at the airport, then Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) has an upcoming event for you to feast your eyes on.

Things are going well for Chase, whose Lucky America No. 7 lounge will officially open in Sin City on December 3, and TPG got a peek inside.

Chase Sapphire Lounge Locations in Las Vegas

The new Chase Sapphire Lounge is located in Terminal 1 after LAS security in Concourse C between Gates 23 and 24. Open daily from 4:30am to 11pm

Chase’s newest lounge is located in the same terminal where you’d normally find airlines like American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Southwest Airlines, Allegiant Air and Spirit Airlines. Notably, it’s located in a different location at the airport than the Capital One Lounge and the American Express Centurion Lounge, both opening in early 2025, both of which are located near Gate D and a short train ride away from the new Sapphire Lounge’s location.

Chase Sapphire Lounge size and layout in Las Vegas

The new Chase Sapphire Lounge in Las Vegas has two levels, 4,590 square feet and can accommodate up to 87 people. It features shimmering finishes that echo the city’s décor and nightlife, while desert-themed décor pays homage to the area’s landscape.

That means it’s much more compact than some of the other Chase Sapphire lounges, such as the 10,000-square-foot San Diego Lounge, the over 20,000-square-foot Philadelphia Outpost Lounge, and the TPG Award-winning LaGuardia Airport (LGA) Lounge, which is just over 21,000 square feet.

It’s not the smallest in Chase’s portfolio, though — that distinction is due to its Phoenix lounge, which measures about 3,500 square feet. However, unlike the Phoenix location, the Las Vegas location will not be taking reservations when it opens.

What it lacks in size compared to some of its sister lounges, it tries to make up for in ambience. The space, a former bus terminal, is decorated with colorful artwork by artists with ties to the area, creating a lively atmosphere befitting a Sin City airport lounge.

Chase Sapphire Lounge Dining in Las Vegas

Come hungry and leave with delicious dishes like Momofuku’s famous pork buns, crispy nori potatoes, and spicy cucumber salad. If you’ve been to other Chase Sapphire lounges, you might also recognize signature dishes like Sapphire noodles with broccoli, edamame, chickpeas, and chili.

You can find all of these options at the ground floor buffet, as well as some additional customization options, such as the Impossible Burger, on a QR code menu located on a cafe-style table on the ground floor near the stairs.

If you need a pick-me-up, you can grab a cup of coffee from Nevada-based Dark Moon Coffee Roasters, or if you want something a little stronger, choose from Parcelle’s curated wine list, which includes a 2023 Albariño from Spain’s Familia Torres and a Prosecco from Lamberti in northern Italy.

It wouldn’t be Las Vegas without cocktails, so for that, you might want to try the locally inspired Lucky 1700 (a dice twist on a classic gimlet that’s a deep black color thanks to the addition of activated charcoal), as well as the Ready, Set, Go, a vodka-based tipple inspired by the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix with hints of apricot.

Last but not least, be sure to visit the Champagne Shop upstairs, where you can purchase sparkling beverages via bar cart service, including a glass of sparkling wine, a mimosa, and a seasonal Sprite (if you see one, we recommend the Fig Sprite).

TPG Tip: If you’re really into the small plates here, note that the Momofuku restaurant inside the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas, as well as the Momofuku Noodle Bar locations in New York City neighborhoods like the East Village and Uptown Manhattan, are also part of the Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables program, which means you can visit and buy more noodles and pork buns using your $150 credit from eligible restaurants participating in Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables twice a year.

bottom line

The rapid expansion of the Chase Sapphire Lounge network is not yet over with the opening of a new lounge in Las Vegas, with outposts in Los Angeles and Dallas also set to open soon, according to Chase. The latest addition adds value to holders of the newly updated Sapphire Reserve and the new Sapphire Business Reserve, and provides a new lounge option in an area of the airport that previously lacked easy access.
