LXR Hotels & Resorts to debut in Greece

Hilton fans can look forward to using their hard-earned points next year at a new hotel on one of our favorite Greek islands: Santorini Sandblu will reopen in April 2026 under the LXR portfolio.
The luxury hotel, shared by Hilton with TPG, is now open for bookings as part of the LXR Collection, welcoming guests to the island’s east coast overlooking the Aegean Sea from April 8, 2026. This intimate hotel has just 66 rooms and suites, many with private pools and Greek-style décor such as stone facades and whitewashed walls.
First opening in July 2024, Sandblu Santorini will now become the first LXR Hotels & Resorts hotel to open in Greece.
“Sandblu captures the ethereal spirit of Santorini in a way that is both understated and sophisticated,” Feisal Jaffer, global head of LXR Hotels & Resorts, said in a statement shared with TPG. “LXR is defined as a hotel with a strong identity, and this resort brings a fresh, contemporary expression to this spectacular location. We are proud to introduce a new level of craftsmanship and design to the island, creating an environment that is timeless, authentic and truly belongs to its location.”

Each room is bright and airy, reflecting Santorini’s famously stunning scenery, with its own private terrace overlooking the hotel’s swimming pool or the sparkling sea beyond. For guests looking for more privacy, there are three villas with full kitchens, spacious sundecks and private swimming pools.
For those who prefer sand between their toes, guests can head to the hotel’s dedicated beach or relax in one of two stunning infinity pools. Wellness seekers can relax at the Aurora Spa, which features a sauna and ocean-view indoor pool, or you can enjoy a zen retreat in the yoga garden.

Speaking of pampering, guests can enjoy modern Greek cuisine and seafood at Nectar, try fresh pastries at Stari Bakery, or enjoy traditional Greek dishes like stripatsada (made with eggs and fresh tomatoes) at Plateia. End the day with local wine and Greek snacks in the hotel’s Aroma bar.
The hotel also has a dedicated kids’ club to suit everyone’s needs.
According to TPG’s search, Santorini Sandblu Santorini starts at $321 per night, or 95,000 Hilton Honors points.
In addition to Santorini, Hilton operates more than a dozen LXR Hotels & Resorts properties around the world, with more under development. In Europe, current hotels include TPG favorite Sax Paris in France and Susona Bodrum in Turkey.
