Taking advantage of the year-end scramble, employers must fill positions from the old budget and fill vacant positions from the new budget that takes effect in January. Just because the holidays are coming, just because Christmas and New Year’s are coming, it doesn’t mean companies won’t be conducting interviews. Even in 2023, this is still the case. This happens every year. The process continues, with many of you easing into the new year and then being part of the mad dash for more people to enter the market when January 1 rolls around.
