Hilton launches first-ever Hilton Honors Adventures event

Here it is: Hilton is getting adventurous. Today, the company announced new experiences that travelers can book using Hilton Honors points, including luxury cruises, glamping experiences and more.

The new Hilton Honors Adventure category is an expansion of the existing loyalty program and will provide members with the opportunity to enjoy non-hotel outdoor travel experiences, including the company’s glamping partnership with AutoCamp, which Hilton shared with TPG.

Now, Hilton has a new partnership with luxury cruise line Explora Journeys to offer high-end sailings around the world.

“Explora Journeys defines the pinnacle of luxury ocean travel and unparalleled experiences,” Chris Silcock, president of Hilton Worldwide Brands and Commercial Services, said in a statement shared with TPG. “This exciting new partnership creates the perfect time to launch Hilton Honors Adventures, bringing our members new ways to experience iconic destinations and hidden gems around the world.”

Travelers will have to wait until summer 2026 to start earning and redeeming Hilton Honors points on Explora travel, but Hilton is currently offering a preview of the partnership’s benefits. Members who book travel before June 7, 2026 will receive 100,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points for each Explora Suite booked, an in-suite welcome gift, and up to $400 in Journey Experience Credits on select 16 different Explora itineraries, or $200 in points on all other Explora cruises. Points can be used for onboard add-ons such as wine tastings, spa treatments and suite upgrades.

It’s unclear what the points redemption rate will be when the full partnership launches next summer.

For its part, Explora has its own loyalty program, Explora Club, which offers members a variety of tier-based benefits, such as exclusive onboard cocktail events and offers on future bookings. The company also matches the loyalty programs of other luxury cruise lines and its sister brand MSC Voyagers Club.

Explora currently operates two vessels, Explora I and Explora II, with plans to add a third vessel in the summer of 2026, a fourth vessel in the summer of 2027, and a fifth vessel in December 2027. The company offers a small cruise experience (currently each ship has just 461 oceanfront suites), along with curated fine dining and onboard shopping from luxury brands such as Rolex, Cartier and Panerai.

Hilton isn’t the only company offering opportunities to earn and redeem points on cruises and other non-hotel experiences. Marriott Bonvoy also allows members to redeem points for Ritz-Carlton Yacht Series cruises and launched an outdoor-focused booking platform and collection earlier this year.
