They will use two strategies to trap you

By Jeff Altman, Big Game Hunter
No matter how experienced or inexperienced you are, the final interview is nerve-wracking. Employers use two basic strategies. I review both here.
I’m Jeff Altman, big game hunter. I’m the head coach at JobSearch.Community. On this website I have compiled information that you can watch, listen to or read. It will help you find a job faster.
So, I thought I’d do a show today where I talk about final interviews and explain to you the two basic tactics employers use to trap you, trick you, fool you, get you to open up, and get yourself rejected. So, what are the two basic tactics employers use to trap you? How would this person approach him to determine if he could play with the big boys and girls in the organization? I think they took two basic approaches. First, friendly guys.
Oh, easygoing guy. I’m your friend. I am your bud.
We are good friends. The second one is a female executive. Now, this happens to be a guy being interviewed.
But I’ve found that it’s easy for female executives to do this as well. While the examples I’ve given are geared towards men, there are female versions as well, and they’re friendly. You can tell me the truth.
It’s kind of like the role of a good mother. The third place is female executives. Now, this happens to be a guy being interviewed.

No. 8, a female executive. Now, this happens to be a guy being interviewed. But I’ve found that it’s easy for female executives to do this as well.

So recognize the two approaches they are most likely to take, especially if you are a senior professional. I repeat, especially if you are a senior professional. Now, I know that for a lot of people, this happens when you’re at a junior level.
But certainly, as I was talking to this guy, if he was going to be in a C-level position, they would do one of those two things with him. Just stay alert and recognize the possibility. That’s my video for today.
