Hi, I’m Jeff Altman, Big Game Hunter. I have prepared a brain teaser for you. As I said in my previous video, I happen to love deflection brainteasers.
I have one with a deflection twist. So, here’s the scenario. Ready? Tommy Tucker took two ropes and tied the two turtles to two tall trees.
How many T’s are there? I’m going to repeat the question. Tommy Tucker took two ropes and tied the two turtles to two tall trees. How many T’s are there? So, the first sentence is completely irrelevant.
This is deflection. That is, look at that hand, but not the other hand. That’s what deflection brainteasers do.
Because the real question is, how many T’s are there? The answer is two. So, there are two T’s in there, that’s how you answer the question. But because of its setting, it feels like a joke.
You know, the joke was staged. Well, the setup is the first thing said about Tommy Tucker. In fact, all they care about is how many T’s are in the word.
So, they didn’t use that word. They just say how many T’s are in it. I’m Jeff Altman.
