Other options

If you don’t like these options, you can still use a card that’s suitable for everyday spending. Some of these options include:

I always recommend trying to earn at least 2% cash back or 2 points per $1 spent when possible, but at least aim to earn more than 1% cash back or 1 point per $1 spent. However, you might consider earning 1 point or mile for every $1 spent on a card to help you make progress toward your elite status goal.

Be sure to check your card’s offers regularly. Some card issuers, such as Chase and American Express, offer deals with specific merchants. These can come in the form of additional rewards or statement points.

bottom line

Whether you’re a certified fitness enthusiast or a newbie, having a credit card that earns you extra rewards on your fitness spending can be a huge plus for your wallet. Plus, with some of these cards, you can get additional benefits that allow you to save even more money.

The right card for you depends entirely on your spending habits and whether you can tolerate the annual fee. No matter which one you choose, you’ll get the most out of every dollar you spend on fitness.
