Looking back at 2025 and my goals for 2026

Looking back on this year, I want to share some of the things I want to do in 2026.
Hi friends! Are you OK? I hope you’re having a great week so far. The kids are back in school, Liv’s 14th birthday is this week (what?!), and I’m just now starting to live a normal life. I was feeling productive up until winter break and I’ve been slowly getting back to work.
I’m looking forward to finding a routine again, having some fun things to come, and being cautiously optimistic about the New Year.
Some personal highlights for 2025:
– We went to Disneyland to celebrate Liv’s birthday

– Eat steak with friends

– Pilot retired from the Air Force

– We celebrate Wyatt’s Bar Mitzvah

– I sang Carmina Blanca with symphony choir

– My brother Bailey is getting married! !

– In one of my craziest and most successful travel plans ever, my girls and I took a Euro Disney cruise and spent over 5 weeks in Spain

– The newest member of our family: Lola, the little golden retriever. We are all smitten with this adorable girl and Macy is already loving having a little sister. She’s definitely a puppy, but has lots of energy and doesn’t bother Macy too much. I dare say they will become best friends.

Looking back at 2025 and my goals for 2026
Professional review:
From an integrative health practitioner’s perspective, it’s been a year full of learning, expansion, and client success. It was so amazing to see their wins, I reviewed over 100 lab tests last year!
Thanks to your overwhelming support (ranked #7 out of over 5,000 practitioners!), I became the winner of the 100 Day Challenge and was invited to speak at the Health Coaching Success Group along with some other IHPs that I have great respect and admiration for.

I feel so blessed every day to be aligned with EquiLife’s incredible mission and the inspiring people behind it. I can’t wait to see what IHP and EquiLife come up with next year! !

I hired a podcast manager and last summer we saw 700% growth, which was huge! He helped me with show notes, editing, production of the video, and the complete set of videos on YouTube. I took a bit of a break over the holidays and am excited to be back here with some incredible guests who have booked this month.
I would also like to thank affiliate partners including Nutrisense, EquiLife, IHP, Sakara, HigherDOSE, Danger Coffee, Organifi, OneSkin, ButcherBox, Canopy, Somavedic, Air Doctor, Vivarays, Vivrelle, Hydrow, We Feed Raw, Sculpt Society, Oliveda and everyone who purchases through my links. It directly supports our family (and helps keep this little blog running) and I’m so grateful. I also started working with EllieMD this year because I love their products!

I launched Healing Code, my new signature program, and Revenue Rx, which provides guidance for integrative health practitioners and health coaches looking to grow their businesses. I also conducted my first workshop and am excited to host more of these in 2026; more details in the next post! ! Our next group project, DetoxU, will officially launch next week, so we’ll have more information on that. There are lots of interesting things on the horizon 😉
My focus this year is coaching clients and program participants, my Revenue Rx clients, helping them create profitable and freedom-based businesses, and of course content creation on podcasts, Instagram and blogging/Substack.
In full transparency, this blog has had some highs and some…lows. When I started the year, ad revenue was collapsing. I saw some numbers I haven’t seen since the heyday of blogging. While we were in Spain, my ad revenue was the best it had been in years. (Which confirmed my thoughts that we did need to move to Spain.) Well, everything fell apart this fall and has yet to recover, and I doubt it ever will.
With Google’s constant updates and AI search, people really don’t need to click on blog posts to get information. Search was a huge source of referrals for me but now it sucks. Ad revenue right now is about 1/4 of what it is this time of year…and it’s expensive to keep a blog alive with all the associated costs.
The good news is that I have multiple streams of income – which is why you can’t put all your income eggs in one basket – but the devastating news is I think a lot of bloggers will jump ship this year. I created a Substack and it reminded me of my old blogging days; no ads, no writing for The Man (aka Google Search), it was just casual and fun. Of course, I’ll still be posting here, but if you want to follow up there, I’d love to meet you!
Personal and health goals:
My health goals are to continue to develop habits that make me feel my best, such as quarterly detoxes, smart supplements, restorative exercises, nutritional adjustments, walking, exercise (I love a combination of strength training, barre, spin, Pilates, and hot yoga) and stress management. My goal is to minimize toxins, supplement deficiencies, and continue to use functional lab testing as an amazing tool. I’m proud of myself for taking control of my health and getting to the root causes of what I was going through, and proud of being able to share everything I’ve learned along the way.

I feel like I’ll be able to get things moving with exercise again and maybe even set some fitness goals for the new year 😉 I’m planning our summer trip (Tokyo and Seoul! Let me know if you have any suggestions!) and want to get back to some of the things I gave up on while trying to homeschool and work with friends (like reading instead of doomscrolling, meditating, completing my High Performance Fitness and IHP Level 3 certifications, and more time with friends).
Continue to be the best mom, wife, and friend I can be. I want the people in my life to know how much I love them and to live each day with a grateful, patient and loving heart. Some days are harder than others, haha, but my gratitude check in the morning really makes a difference in how I feel the rest of the day.
I’d love to hear about your year and your goals! What are you proud of in the past year? What are you working on now? Do you have any health goals? Travel plans? I want to hear it all!
I wish you happiness, health, joy and fulfillment in 2026.
