Gemini can help you practice negotiating.

How to create a positive first impression?

Did you know you can use Gemini to practice salary negotiations before you get an offer? marvelous! Now, you have to use the Gemini app, so download it to your phone. Once installed, you will see Soundwave in the lower right corner. After you click on the sonic wave, the purpose of the prompt is – well, you can ask it very simply, like a hiring manager, who makes an offer that’s $10,000 (or whatever) less than what you really want and what you want to accept; however, they have to increase the offer. Whatever scenario you want to use, you can feed that scenario to the AI and it will give you a feedback back and forth that, frankly, will help you prepare for the negotiation.

All I did was tell Gemini that they were underestimating me by about $15,000 and I was looking for at least $10,000 more. I mentioned I didn’t have much time and was told I would be back within 24 hours after speaking with the team. We went back and forth a few times, which gave me a feel for what it would be like to have this negotiation so that I could get rid of any nerves I might be feeling. I think this will help a lot of you too. Again, when Gemini is in the app (not online on the laptop, but using the app), in the lower right corner is Soundwave. Press that.
