This new Disney World discount can save you over $1,000

Like most things we spend money on, the price of a vacation to Walt Disney World continues to rise. A one-day ticket to the Magic Kingdom costs a whopping $209 (though purchasing multi-day passes or visiting during lower-priced periods does significantly lower the daily cost).
But that doesn’t mean there aren’t ways to save money. In fact, Disney World just launched a slew of summer discounts that combined can save you more than $1,000 on your family vacation.
All of the details below will help you maximize your savings on your next trip to Disney World.
Free: 2 additional days, dining plan and water park tickets
I’d love to spend even one day at Disney World, but if you’ve been thinking about going all out for a vacation that makes all of your kids’ Disney wishes come true, this is the year to make it happen.
For most stays between May 26 and September 15, you’ll get two free hotel nights and two free theme park days when you purchase a minimum four-night, four-day Disney World room and ticket vacation package. This essentially provides six days for the price of two. That means more time to play at Disney’s four theme parks and more time to relax and explore the resort’s pools, dining options and activities.
Additionally, you can combine this offer with a separate offer valid throughout 2026, which includes free Disney dining plans for children ages 3 to 9 when you purchase a dining plan for guests 10 and older in your travel group. You can choose between the Quick Service Dining Plan, which includes two fast food meals per day, or the Disney Dining Plan, which includes one fast food meal and one table service meal per day. Typically, free Disney dining plans are only available with non-discount vacation packages, which makes this a big deal (pun intended).

If you think your savings only stop there, think again. Guests staying at Disney World hotels between May 26 and September 8 can visit Disney Water Park for free on the day of arrival.
By stacking these money-saving offers, you can save over $1,000 on your Disney World vacation.

Let’s take a quick look at the calculations for a family of four, including two children under 10 who qualify for free meals.
August and September are already the cheapest months to visit Disney World, so I’ll use mid-August as an example. I’ll be using Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort in this example since it’s one of my favorite family vacation destinations.

A family of four who visits Disney and stays at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort between August 12 and August 18 can receive six days of theme park admission, day-of-arrival water park admission, and a quick-service dining plan for $4,887.06.
If you book this package without taking advantage of the “Two Free Nights and Park Day” discount, you’ll pay $6,045. Your free dining plan and water park admission for the day you arrive will still apply, but you’ll miss out on the $1,157.94 discount.

Another way to frame this discount is to compare it to staying just four nights and purchasing a four-day theme park ticket. If you book a four-day, four-night vacation through the Free Dining Plan promotion, you’ll pay $4,684.72. You basically get two extra nights and two extra days in the park for a total cost of $202. Spending an extra two days playing, sleeping and dining at Disney World will cost about $50 more per person.
Save more with the Disney Visa Card
Save even more with a Disney Visa Credit Card.

along with Disney® Premier Visa® Card (see rates and fees), you’ll receive a $300 statement credit after you spend $1,000 in purchases within the first three months of account opening. At the same time, there is no annual fee Disney® Visa® Card (See Rates & Fees) Get a $150 statement credit after you spend $500 in purchases within the first three months of account opening.

If you use the card to purchase a Disney World vacation package, the statement points can offset some of your vacation costs. And when you use your card to purchase a qualifying vacation package, you’ll maximize access to other cardholder benefits like cash back in the form of Disney Reward Dollars that can be redeemed at Disney, dining discounts and vacation financing.
Other Disney World Discounts
If your vacation dates fall outside the deal dates, or you don’t plan on staying at a Disney World hotel, Disney has some other discounts that can help you save money.
In rare cases, you can save even more with hotel-only or ticket discounts, which is one of the many reasons we recommend working with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. Planners can review your trip details and determine which special offers will save you the most money.

For stays in early 2026, you can save up to 25% on hotel rooms, and for summer stays, you can save up to 30%.
Your total savings will depend on the hotel and location you choose, but you’ll see the highest savings percentages for stays of five nights or more during this offer.

Also, if you don’t plan on staying at a Disney World hotel, or if you’re a Disney Vacation Club member and don’t need a hotel and ticket package, Disney offers a ticket-only version of the “Two Days Free” promotion. With this offer, you can purchase a six-day ticket for the price of a four-day ticket, effectively lowering the daily starting price to $82 (or $496 for the entire ticket).
How to Find Disney World Discounts
Finding Disney World discounts is easy. On the Disney website, if you click on “Where to Stay” and navigate to “View Special Offers” in the pop-up menu, you’ll see a complete list of Disney’s current hotel and vacation package discounts.
You can click here to go directly to this page. Bookmark it for later, or check TPG regularly for the latest Disney discounts.
If you work with a Disney Vacation Planner, they will search for these offers on your behalf and apply any that are suitable. However, it doesn’t hurt to check back once in a while and flag anything you think might apply to your trip.
bottom line
There’s no getting around it: for most families, a vacation to Disney World is a significant expense. These Disney World discounts can help you save money for future travel or purchases elsewhere, such as character dining experiences and tickets to the Disney After Hours Party.
