How to Enter the Capital One Lounge

One of the best ways to gain access to Capital One lounges is with the Capital One Ventures X Rewards Credit Card or the Capital One Ventures X Business Card. Although these premium cards have an annual fee of $395 (see Venture X rates and fees) (see Venture

Currently, Venture X cardholders can bring two guests into Capital One lounges at no additional charge. However, starting February 1, Venture X is changing its access policy for guests and authorized users.

After the changes are implemented, primary cardholders will have the option to pay $125 per year as an authorized user to maintain lounge access. Additionally, there is a $45 fee per guest bringing a Venture X cardholder to the Capital One Lounge. Those under 17 pay $25 to enter the lounge; children under 2 are free.

Note that if you spend at least $75,000 on your card in a calendar year, you can bring two guests into a Capital One lounge at no extra charge.

With Capital One opening an office in North Carolina, it’s no surprise that the issuer plans to expand its lounge network to CLT. The airport continues to operate as a major hub for travelers, and with other plans to increase (or expand) its footprint at this international airport, we’re excited to see Capital One do the same.
