InterContinental Hotels Group just opened its first all-inclusive hotel in Florida, US

Now, booking an all-inclusive warm-weather vacation (via points, of course) is easier than ever, thanks to the opening of the Voco Sandpiper all-inclusive resort in Port St. Lucie, Florida, about 45 minutes north of West Palm Beach International Airport (PBI). This is IHG’s first all-inclusive hotel in the United States and the only family-friendly all-inclusive hotel in Florida.

The hotel has 335 guest rooms and two-bedroom suites, ideal for families. The best part? All white-washed, modern accommodation has a private balcony or patio. Standard rooms are spacious at 495 square feet with a king bed and two twin sofa beds.
In terms of restaurants, there are four dining venues within the hotel, managed by Executive Chef Mark Jones, who brings his Michelin-starred restaurant experience to Riverside Market, an international buffet and two al fresco casual dining venues, Lucie’s and Solara. The hotel also has 3 bars and a walk-up café, so you don’t have to worry about getting thirsty during your stay.
The resort offers free fitness classes through RPS Sports Academy, kayak and paddleboard rentals through Salty’s Watersports, and has three pools for diving: a large main pool, a children’s pool and an adults-only infinity pool with views of the St. Lucie River.
Please note that the resort is located on a river, which is great for boating and water activities, but not swimming. However, Jensen Beach is only a seven-minute drive from the resort.
Additionally, there is a marina, tennis courts, pickleball and evening entertainment on site. There are also a range of activities throughout the day, including beachside yoga, mixology classes and dance classes. Children can enjoy programs designed just for them, including arts, crafts and scavenger hunts.
