Current Welcome Offers for Capital One Venture Capital Incentives

For beginners and experts alike who want to easily earn miles with minimal effort, the Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card is a great option, with an annual fee of just $95.

Now, Venture Rewards has a great limited-time welcome offer, where you can earn 75,000 bonus miles when you spend $4,000 within three months of opening an account. Plus, upon approval, you’ll receive $250 in Capital One travel credit to use during your first year.

If this offer sounds enticing and you’re on the fence about applying, here’s what else you need to know before you can make a decision.

Capital One Entrepreneurship Awards Welcome Offer

New Capital One Venture Rewards cardholders can earn 75,000 bonus miles after spending $4,000 in purchases within the first three months of account opening. Additionally, they will receive a $250 Capital One travel credit upon approval for use in the first year.

Combined with award miles and travel points, this offer is worth $1,638 based on TPG’s January 2026 valuation.

In terms of miles alone, this is a regular welcome bonus on the card. However, this limited-time offer adds extra value in the form of a $250 Capital One travel credit.

We found that this card comes with a welcome offer of up to 100,000 miles after meeting minimum spend requirements (no longer available). Although the offer has expired, the current offer is still high and stable. In our opinion, a card worth more than $1,600 with a manageable spending threshold is a win. This is the most lucrative offer we’ve seen on this card since May 2025.

If you redeem Capital One miles for maximum value, it’s possible to get even more from that bonus, thanks to their impressive list of 15+ transfer partners.

Earn a Capital Mile

This card earns a minimum of 2 miles per $1 spent on all purchases. So by spending $4,000 to earn your welcome bonus, you could earn at least 83,000 miles (including the welcome bonus) in your first few months.

Since Venture Rewards earns 5 miles for every $1 spent on car rentals, hotels and vacation rentals booked through Capital One Travel, you can earn even more miles while working towards your welcome bonus.

While some travel credit cards may earn slightly higher interest rates on specific categories like groceries or dining, the appeal lies in the simplicity and guarantee that you’ll earn at least 2 miles for every $1 you spend on any purchase, without having to remember multiple rewards spending categories.

What can the Capital Mile do for you?

The total value you get from this welcome bonus depends on how you redeem your miles. There are two key options:

  • Redeem 1 cent per person for travel
  • Redeem by transferring to Capital One’s 15+ partner airlines and hotels (our recommendations)

When converting miles to hotel points or airline miles, most partners offer a 1:1 conversion ratio, but some have different ratios. You can redeem great deals by transferring your miles to programs like Air Canada Aeroplan and Air France-KLM Flying Blue.

For example, TPG Senior Editorial Director Nick Ewen transferred 117,000 Capital One miles to Emirates Skywards to upgrade himself and two family members to Emirates first class. At 39,000 miles per person, it’s a reasonable cost for an upgrade.

If you don’t want to transfer your miles, you can redeem them by booking a trip through Capital One Travel. These redemptions can be very convenient in situations where you might be renting an RV, booking a vacation rental, or booking a cabin closer to home rather than hopping on a flight to the other side of the world.

Other entrepreneurial incentives and benefits

Capital One Venture Rewards doesn’t offer the same benefits as more premium travel rewards cards, including its upscale sibling, the Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card.
