I just got an offer for a job that would be a better fit #shorts

What should I do now?
After a long job search, I finally received an offer that I accepted. It’s not a great position, but I need to get back to work. Now I have another position proposed to me. I got an offer from them but I’m not sure if I should accept it. It’s a better fit for what I do than the job I’m doing.
I’m Jeff Altman, big game hunter. People hire me to provide no-nonsense job coaching and career advice around the world because I make the process of finding and succeeding in a job easier. You know, the company that fired you prompted your long job search – well, they made a business decision. They’re not doing this personally because they hate you, at least as far as I know. They made a business decision.
You also need to make business decisions. What are the strengths of your career as a CEO? Should you stay where you are, or should you do something that suits you better and suits you better? I’m pretty sure you know it’s the latter. It’s about choosing a position that’s a better fit for you so you can feel good at work rather than just doing, you know, a job.
So the last thing I would say is, don’t buy into the idea of corporate loyalty. The company has no loyalty to you. They hired you to do a job; they didn’t hire you to be their best friend. You’re not working for a company; you’re working for a manager who works for a company. If layoffs were to occur, there was little that manager could do. Everything will be math. You are math to them. You are not an employee who means anything to them.
