For Amani Samba, entrepreneurship has never been just an idea. This was something he already lived with. With an IT background and many years of experience working on technology solutions such as access control systems and CCTV, he developed a strong technical foundation early in his career. In addition to his professional work, he spent six to seven years developing entrepreneurial projects with his wife. Over time, these side hustles made this clear to him. He wanted to take what they had built and expand it appropriately.
“I want to arm myself with academic knowledge to improve my business“, explained Armani. Although he had practical experience, he knew formal training would help him think more strategically.”Entrepreneurship is obviously my specialty, so having a master’s degree in this field was crucial.“

“Project work and coursework are challenging,” Armani said,“But it’s also the most rewarding. It gives you insight into what it really means to manage every aspect of a business.“
Rather than seeming overwhelming, this structure reinforces discipline and focus. “If you really know how to manage your time, you’ll know what to do with it,” he added.
A global network beyond the classroom
Although offered online, the program fosters meaningful collaboration. Close collaboration on projects has allowed us to develop strong connections with our peers around the world.
“You created this family,” said Armani, noting that his project team still keeps in touch today.
This sense of community came full circle at graduation when he and his wife traveled to France to attend the ceremony in person. “This is a grand ceremony,” he recalled.Meeting my entire project team in person truly felt like a reward.“
The results speak for themselves
Today, he serves as a consultant, applying the strategic and entrepreneurial thinking he developed throughout the project. Looking back, the value goes far beyond the certificate itself. He describes the degree as “This is one of the best investments I’ve made in the last ten years.“
