Hyatt Rewards Calendar: Check it out to save on your next stay

The World of Hyatt Rewards Chart offers the perfect combination of predictability and dynamic pricing. During peak travel periods, World of Hyatt can pay higher fees by asking for more points. On days with less demand, travelers can enjoy lower points rates. Regardless of check-in time, travelers always know that award night nights for a specific hotel category will fall within a specific range.

I like staying at a Category 1 Hyatt hotel for only 3,500 points per night during off-peak periods. But you can save points at any category of Hyatt hotels and resorts by checking the World of Hyatt rewards calendar to find off-peak dates and avoid peak dates.

How to use the Hyatt Rewards Calendar

You can easily view the rewards calendar for any specific hotel that interests you. Search for award nights on the Hyatt website as you normally would, click “View Rates” for a specific hotel, then click “Points Calendar” near the top of the page, just below the hotel’s phone number.

Doing so will load a calendar view of the bonus rates for the month you selected.

Click the arrow to select a different month, or use the drop-down menu to see award rates for different room types.

If the room type you select doesn’t have any bonus space, you’ll also see it on the calendar.

Why it’s important to use the Hyatt Rewards Calendar

Let’s consider the week-long stay in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (one of the places on TPG’s 2026 Where to Go list) from the previous section. If we wanted to stay at the Alila Bangsar Kuala Lumpur, we could check the hotel’s rewards calendar and find that if we visited in September instead of August, we could stay for a full week at an off-peak rate.

By changing the dates, we were able to stay at the Alila Bangsar in Kuala Lumpur for seven nights using 45,500 World of Hyatt points instead of 57,500 points. Based on TPG’s January 2026 valuation, we would have saved $204 worth of points traveling a month later. Alternatively, if our dates were booked, we could move to another lower category hotel, or one with more off-peak accommodation during our stay.

bottom line

I always check the rewards calendar when I book a Hyatt stay. Doing this saved me some points on my trip to Kuala Lumpur last year. I visited the city on the hotel’s off-peak dates using information from the Category 1 Hyatt Centric Kuala Lumpur City Center’s rewards calendar.

As the end of the year approaches, Hyatt’s Rewards Calendar feature may also come in handy if you find yourself a night or two away from your ideal Hyatt elite status. After all, you can use a specific hotel’s rewards calendar to plan a last-minute vacation or staycation for a minimum of points.
