Act Quick: Fly Delta to Dublin, Madrid and Marrakech for 26K SkyMiles each way

Are you ready to plan your first vacation of 2026? Delta just launched a three-day rewards flash sale to some great transatlantic destinations, including Dublin; Barcelona; Madrid; and Marrakech, Morocco. Most of the best deals are from New York area airports, but there are some good discounts from other departure cities.

Discounted award fares are available on Delta One, Prime Seats, Premium Select Seats, and Comfort Seats (although the Premium Seat and Comfort Seat discounts only apply to February flights). Most of the lowest award fares (primary tickets) in this sale involve short layovers. This year’s travel window ends on April 30, so if you’re looking to spend spring across the Atlantic, now’s a great time to take advantage of your SkyMiles miles.

Don’t forget, if you have an eligible Delta co-branded American Express card, you can save an additional 15% on these award flights. Remember, to take advantage of these award fares, you must book by midnight on Thursday 5 February.

I always like to point out in these deals that using Delta’s price calendar can save you a ton of time when searching for the lowest fares. While logged into your Delta SkyMiles account on the Delta website, search for the flight you want and click on the Price Calendar tab. Here are the lowest available awards we found from New York to Barcelona in late February/early March:

There are plenty of flights from LaGuardia Airport (LGA) to Josep Talladelas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN) with a layover at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), starting at 26,000 SkyMiles one-way, plus $55 tax and service fee. Save an additional 4,000 miles when you book your trip with a Delta-branded American Express card.

I know I said most of the lowest fares we found were for flights with layovers, but we did find a great nonstop deal from New York to Dublin in late February. You can book a trip from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) to Dublin Airport (DUB) for just 26,000 SkyMiles each way, plus a fee of about $50. I don’t see many direct routes on this deal, so jump on this one before it’s gone.

I always like to check out the latest deals for flights from Miami since Miami is my home base. The deals to Spain aren’t as good as those from New York, but I did find a flight from Miami International Airport (MIA) to Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD) in February for 32,000 SkyMiles round-trip, plus $60 in taxes and fees. Save an additional 4,800 miles with a Delta co-branded credit card. This itinerary includes a one-way transfer at JFK Airport.

If you’re looking for transatlantic flights outside of continental Europe, here’s a good example of a round-trip trip from New York’s JFK Airport to Marrakesh Menara Airport (RAK) in Morocco for just 35,600 Delta SkyMiles.

As I said, many of the best deals are from New York, and there are a few other East Coast flights to choose from. But Delta’s deal isn’t strictly limited to the East Coast. If you live in Chicago, flights to Amsterdam in April are a great option with this sale. We found that a flight from O’Hare International Airport (ORD) to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (AMS) costs 34,000 miles one-way, plus $127 in taxes and fees.

bottom line

This is a great promotion to use to book a fun spring break overseas. The variety of routes is also good. While we focus on transatlantic routes, Delta also offers award travel discounts of up to 20% on some domestic routes.
