this Disney® Inspire Visa® Card (see Rates and Fees) is Disney’s highest-tier credit card option, which means cardholders can enjoy more Disney-specific benefits and rewards, such as discounts on theme park dining and shopping, statement points on eligible Disney hotel reservations and ticket purchases, and rewards on everyday purchases, but it also has a higher annual fee than other Disney Visa cards. Disney Inspire Visa Card: The Basics
like Disney® Visa® Card (See Rates and Fees) and Disney® Premier Visa® Card (See Rates and Fees), disney inspiration Mainly for Disney regulars.
The Disney Inspire Card offers annual points that can help you offset the cost of a Walt Disney World or Disney Parks visit or a Disney Cruise Line sailing, boost rewards earnings on Disney-related purchases, and provide exclusive discounts on shopping, dining and entertainment at Disney theme parks and on cruises.
All Disney Visa Card rewards can be earned as Disney Reward Dollars, which can be used toward Disney purchases. Earn and redeem options aren’t as flexible as many travel cards, but they can significantly lower the cost of your Disney vacation.
All Disney Magic comes with a $149 annual fee, which can be easily offset with statement points on the card (see more details below). The annual fee on this card is higher than the Disney Premier’s $49 annual fee and the Disney Visa’s $0 annual fee, but if you can use it, the benefits of this card far exceed those of either card.
In addition to the higher annual fee, the other main differences between this card and other Disney cards are annual statement points and higher rewards rates in specific categories.

Disney Inspire cardholders are eligible for annual bill points that are most beneficial to Disney loyalists:

- Get a $100 bill credit when you spend $200 or more on Disney theme park tickets in the U.S. every year
- Get up to $120 in annual credits on Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ purchases
If you visit Disney World or Disneyland at least once a year and With a Disney+ or Disney bundle subscription, you can easily offset the card’s annual fee.
Remember, Disney Reward Dollars can only be used toward Disney purchases. Combined with other statement credits, these benefits are essentially worth $420 per year, but they’re only really valuable if you know you’ll use them consistently.

How to earn and use your rewards
income
along with disney inspirationyou will earn Disney Reward Dollars at the following rates:
- 10% for disneyplus.com, hulu.com and plus.espn.com
- 3% at most other U.S. Disney parks and gas stations
- Grocery stores and restaurants 2%
- 1% on all other card purchases
Earning 3% on Disney purchases is nice, especially if you stay in the “Disney bubble” and spend money on Disney resort hotels, theme park tickets, and in-park dining during your visit.

There are a handful of cards that earn 3% back on travel-related purchases, but they don’t come with other Disney benefits, making this card a good choice if you want to earn and redeem rewards on Disney purchases.
There are a few cards that get you more than the Disney Inspire on gas, groceries, and everyday purchases—but if you value the money you get from Disney discounts, this is the easiest way to do it.
redemption
As mentioned, this card earns Disney Reward Dollars. You can redeem Disney Reward Dollars for Disney cruise packages, onboard activities and souvenirs; Disney movie tickets at AMC Theaters; shopping at Disneystore.com; stays at Disney hotels; shopping and dining at U.S. Disney parks; and Disney theme park tickets.

You can also use Chase’s “Pay Yourself Back” feature to redeem Disney Reward Dollars for statement points toward airline tickets. Please note that you must use a Disney Inspire card and purchase your tickets directly from the airline.
Potential Disadvantages of the Disney Inspire Visa Card
this disney inspirationThe redemption options are limited to Disney-specific purchases, and several cards offer better overall earn rates.
Unless you know you’ll be visiting Disney at least once a year, you probably won’t be able to take full advantage of this card’s benefits, including annual statement points and a higher earn rate on Disney purchases.
Is the Disney Inspire Visa Card worth buying?
Earn 200 Disney Reward Dollars if you know you’ll be visiting a Disney theme park or taking a Disney cruise at least once a year, then spend enough on hotel or cruise purchases to reach the $2,000 threshold and With a $200 spend threshold for theme park tickets, this card is worth using the points and discounts to offset the cost of your vacation.

If you only visit Disney every few years, this card may not make the most sense for you in terms of earning and redeeming rewards.
If you’re most interested in the vacation discounts you can get as a cardholder, no annual fee would be better disney visa. If choosing between disney inspiration and disney premieras a Disney regular, you will get more out of Inspire.
When to Apply for the Disney Inspire Visa Card
My personal strategy is to wait and apply for this card when you know you have an upcoming Disney trip. This will help you take advantage of the card’s welcome bonus and other Disney benefits. Since this is the newest option in the Disney co-branded card suite, the current offer is the highest we’ve seen on the card.
New cardholders can receive a $300 electronic Disney gift card immediately upon approval and receive a $300 statement credit when they spend $1,000 in purchases within the first three months of account opening.
If you open the card and book a vacation to meet the minimum spend requirement to earn the bonus, you can save $300 in the form of statement points and receive a $300 gift card to spend during your trip. This is in addition to the annual statement credits you are eligible to receive if you book a holiday that meets these spending requirements.
If you don’t want the Disney Inspire Visa Card, consider other cards
If you prefer the straightforwardness of earning and redeeming rewards solely through Disney purchases, disney inspiration is a good choice. But otherwise, consider the following alternatives:

bottom line
The Disney Inspire, along with the other two Disney Visa cards, only makes sense for frequent Disney guests as they can maximize the card’s earning potential. For those who can’t take advantage of these benefits every year or want more flexible redemption options, you might be better off with a regular travel rewards card that offers a higher earn rate and multiple redemption options.
If you visit Disney every year or take a Disney cruise and have a Disney+ subscription, you don’t need to do any math to see the value of this card. Welcome bonuses, annual bill points and in-park discounts give you great deals.
