Artificial Intelligence Resume Screening: How Employers Are Using It
You know you can use artificial intelligence to evaluate your resume, just like a specific applicant tracking system.

Even if you don’t know what it is, I’ll tell you how to do it. So if you know about applicant tracking systems, you can simply say: “As if you were the applicant [fill-in-the-blank] Applicant tracking system. Evaluate my resume for this position against my resume. “
If it scores your resume, then it can say, “What can I do to optimize this for you?” It will give you some suggestions on how you can improve.
If you don’t know what it is – I just tried using Perplexity on this; it was a job description for a position but no mention of which ATS it was, so I asked Perplexity with the on-screen job description, “Look at my screen and tell me which applicant tracking system this company uses.” It told me. Awesome, right?
So now you can tell it how a specific applicant tracking system behaves, and then evaluate your resume against that applicant tracking system for a specific position.
