How to Get More Interviews: Be Different
If you want more interviews, think like an employer. Does your resume match what they say they want? Is it obvious? If they were a six-year-old looking at your resume, would they see the right fit or did you make them think?
They’re busy, you know! They want you to let them know if your background is a good fit. The earlier your resume is written, the better off you will be.
So if you want to get more interviews and you’re applying for jobs, don’t simply send the same resume over and over to every job you see online. Its effect is less obvious.
