Be prepared for a recession

As the U.S. economy gets complicated, I thought I’d dedicate this installment of No-Bullshit Career Advice to helping your career and job weather a recession. After all, the music is slowing down, and if you have a good job or are actively looking for work, it’s important to find your seat immediately before the music stops. The company is finalizing its budget over the years. How many do you think will expand recruitment next year?
Analytics-focused tech companies have begun cutting jobs and freezing hiring. Not a new startup (although many companies did this months ago). Cryptocurrencies, Meta, Google, Apple, Netflix, Amazon and others have all hit the brakes and/or slowed down.
My advice is not complete, but a good start for many of you, get yourself started now.
