Let’s admit that money is right or almost right, what else should you consider?
A few seconds of research! Interview hacker exposed
I’m Jeff Altman, the big game hunter, head coach of Jobsearchcoachinghq.com. This is a website with featured information to watch, listen or read and can help you find a job faster. It focuses on the answers to interviews and many annoying interview questions, as well as other aspects related to the interview. It’s a great website; things get much easier once you start the interview.
Today’s show is the one I talked about with you Decide on an offer. Now, you don’t need me to tell you that the money must be right or close to right. I’ll let you figure it out for yourself. I can’t advise you because I don’t know about your special circumstances. People who have a lot of money in the bank have different conditions than people who are related to meat and mouth. I won’t fix these issues, but I’ll give you many other ways to evaluate the offer.
Assuming your money is OK, the first one is: This is the work you can do, maybe reach out a little? I find that most people don’t want to do the same thing over and over for the next 40 years of their lives. They want to learn and grow. How should you develop, how can you develop, who can you become? Say it again Being stretched;Doing the same thing, but having a different name on salary may not be enough.
Is this the career you want to pursue, or is it just a job? Be honest with yourself. Some people do it just for the money. It doesn’t matter. If you want to pursue a different career, you can accept this job, but make sure you have time to pursue another career. Just be clear about this.
OK, Will I be happy? This is one of the questions I can’t measure because I only know that as time goes by and the reality of new jobs, people learn what is hidden from them in interviews. Now, I think clearly: no one lies, just like you, they lie secretly. Everyone in the job search is performing the best face. You have a great opportunity, a great person I mentioned, just like family. No one tells you how bad this job will be, no one pays attention to you as time goes by. The same way you wear a happy, smiling face and talk about your background, say you have never had any problems before, and you have no problems doing the job. Everyone has a good face, so “Will I be happy?” I want you to be honest with yourself and realize that there will be a lot of times when you will be numb to work and happiness will disappear from the equation. The question is, how long? What do they reject from you? Don’t you know? What can you ask for in order to know what you don’t know?
Can I meet their expectations? Now you can start a question during the interview that translates into “What will success look like after 90 days from now?” To understand their evaluation benchmarks. You know, How do I think of my boss and my colleagues? Now, I know that when I interview at different times, I’m switching to a search company. I should recognize the problem on the horizon, but I was too eager. I’m so desperate to leave my current organization and I’m ignoring some things that should be signals to me, which are signals to me, but I’m blocking them. You pretend you can’t see anything? We can say that there can be something unpleasant about your colleagues. In the different organizations I have seen, I have joined mediocre individual teams, who are really not ambitious. Another group I joined, I don’t know how one person can really dominate the habitat instead of the owner. I discovered all kinds of small things but were ignored when making decisions, thinking that I could change the environment through the context and power of my will. The environment won’t change so easily. So I just simply said, Pay attention to your feelings about your boss and colleagues.
at last, What can you learn and how to grow in this job? What are the possibilities for you to learn? What are the possibilities for you to grow? You know, I’m in recruiting and you’re doing a small amount of learning, so I’m spending money on classes from my own pocket, which is something that interests me. You may not matter; I just hope you are conscious. Hope you find this video helpful. If you do, you are watching on YouTube…
