Artist Serolod’s “Reality is Relative”

Artist Serolod’s recent portfolio. Born in Greece and currently located in London, Serolod explores perceived fluidity, the interaction of color and form, and the juxtaposition between contemporary and traditional media. She starts with digitally changing images and then transforms them through paint, creating something that is both controllable and spontaneous.

“A key aspect of my work is to explore the interconnection of duality and everything. My palette draws on “negative” or complementary colors – the opposition of natural tones, and our feelings are recognizable. By shifting attention to these often overlooked colors, I question the nature and authenticity of our perceptions, which is our understanding, and this is a limitation, which is the thought of this thought. Visible, suggesting an invisible dimension and an alternative way to experience the universe.”

Inspired by Einstein’s general theory of relativity, Serolod’s paintings reflect how the smallest particles and the largest cosmic structures are weaved together. For Serolod, everything exists in a state of flux, interconnected and alive. Until July 26, “Reality is Relative” was exhibited in London at Almine Rech.
