10 favorite LEGO parks from actual LEGO fans

Table of contents

Recently, anyone who calls Ikea a “adult LEGO” hasn’t checked the LEGO Points catalog recently.

While many of us may introduce our Lego, today’s settings range from architectural wonders to real artwork that can be enjoyed by both kids and adults. In other words, “Adult Lego” is just Lego bricks.

As someone who loves Lego and is surrounded by friends, family and mixed colleagues, I decided to vote on the best suits they built for them and the people they still covet. In total, I sorted out 10 sets, from $100 to $850 to picks. (Screaming to my brother, suggesting two of the most expensive suits on this list. His expertise is high-he has a lot of my mom texting me before his last birthday,”[He] No more Lego bricks are needed until he owns his own garage to store them inside. ”)

Mashable’s contributor Lauren Allain bought this little and adorable botanist for her partner’s mom – a man who has never been built in her life. judgment? “She loves it,” Allen told me. With a 373 piece function, it is complex enough to produce a design that can be truly used as a home decoration while still being beginner friendly.

Lego Orchid was the first product of plant lines to be appropriately viral, and it is no surprise for why. Mashable’s Haley Henschel uses it as a design work in her home. Just like on bookshelf or even on the dining table, it’s on the mantle like at home. And it is an inkillable orchid that earns more points.

Lego icon retro broadcast

Can LEGO Radio actually play sound? I’m listening (literally).

I knew I had to ask my friend Danica for her all-time favorite because she was the proud owner of the first Lego that left me breathless: the typewriter (you can actually use the keys – I know). While the set is sad, she designated this retro broadcast as another favorite, partly because she likes the vibe, partly because it can Actual audio playback. The sound brick in the build can play a variety of short audio settings, which is a nice enough feature for $100 alone. Once you’re done setting up, you can also turn on your back and put your phone into the broadcast and play music from your own device – LEGO isn’t technically playing it, but if you want to pretend it’s a great feature.

When I asked my Mashable colleagues about their favorite suits, socially sound journalist Chase Dibenedetto responded to a link, which was a simple message: “I love my bugs.” Looking at the colors, details and posing here, I got the reason. With this set, you will build a blue form butterfly, a Hercules beetle and a Chinese mantis.

Not all Lego builds are created equally – intricate works on a wrong day are more frustrating than relaxing. However, my friend Danica had to recommend this cabin, apart from the retro broadcast, because not only was it very charming (it looked like how precious it was on the shelf), but she discovered the build itself, despite building over 2000 pieces.

Lego icon Lord of the Rings: Balrog Book Nook Kit

Sorry, but all other books corners have to be packed, it’s a win.

“If I had $100 to drop on this heavy metal Balrog Book Nook, I would,” that’s what Mashable UK editor Shannon Connellan told me in my favorite set (this set costs £100 in the UK and $129.99 in the US). Opening the link to this set is an experience – ingesting huge Balrog, Tiny Gandalf, “You won’t get through!”, and the stage between the book now makes me wonder if I have $129.99 falling on this book, and I will, too.

Sometimes, recreating the scene from your beloved IP is exactly what the soul needs. ANIMAL CROSSING Fans may be happy to be able to work hard again at KK Slider’s concert in the square, lotr Fans may need an incredibly epic bookend (as mentioned above), and twilight Fans may need to see Edward Cullen in Lego format tells Bella: “You’d better stick with the tight spider monkey.”

For Mashable’s Dylan Haas, spending time with his wife, built the 2,000-plus set reminds him of the importance of spending time connecting with his loved ones. He wrote: “I’m not saying you should bury your head and ignore what’s going on in the world – in fact, I suggest you object to that. But if the state of everything becomes overwhelming, maybe I’m saying you should choose a Lego and see what happens.”

Lego piano

Yes, in fact, the little Lego on a real Lego piano did make me weirdly emotional and ready to spend $399.99.

Another Lego is not However What I own is this grand piano. While I was more of a Lego builder between my boyfriend and me, he was a musician – his preferred tool was the piano. I know my dream is to have a grand piano one day, and I think it’s more within my affordability, relatively speaking. While still expensive, it also has impressive features and the attention to detail is incredible. You can adjust the table height, place the small music on the stands, cover the keys, open the sides to see the inside, and of course, there are actually 25 keys playing, each connected to its own hammer.

With the connected app, you can listen to the piano to play a small number of songs (and watch the key move), or you can choose to play the song yourself – this song plays regardless of the keys, but it does play at the speed of your keys. Yes, this little Lego is priced at $400, but for piano lovers, it may be worth splurge.

Speaking of squandering, it’s time to get into my brother’s two choices. He first proposed the massive items from the Technic series, saying they were “very cool,” because [they] He stays away from traditional bricks.

A $850 LEGO is not for casual LEGO fans, which is exactly why it’s my brother’s pride and joy (to be fair, he bought it for $799, which is a real bargain). I’m sure I’ve never seen my brother happier than he did when he built this behemoth. It has lived near the entrance to my family’s house for a long time (not long after the initial residence on the kitchen table), and it’s a conversation piece by everyone who visits. I’ve seen many adult men drop their chins in front of them. And they are better – not only are the most expensive sets on this list so far, but one of the most expensive sets ever LEGO.

When I asked my brother if he thought the set was worth $850, he replied, “F-CK no! But it looks cool.” Will he buy it again? “Yes.” To be honest, I got it. The collection goes beyond complexity, with its 7,541-piece work that allows you not only to build the exterior structure of the iconic boat, but also to build some interior rooms, including characters from the original trilogy and recent sequels.
