How to return capital to mileage in cash

The charm of a travel reward card makes it easy to forget, and there are plenty of good reasons to hold a cash reserve card in your wallet as well. Cashback cards often have simple income and redemption structures that you can’t go beyond the flexibility of cash rewards.
If you have a one-mile card that makes money, consider adding a capital 1 cash card to your wallet. With the right card pairing, you can turn your capital-cash reward into transferable miles, making it more valuable.
This is what you need to know to fully maximize your capital rewards.
Which capital can be converted into mileage with a cash reserve card?
To convert a cash back capital into miles, you need to hold a capital one cash card and a mile card at the same time. This way, you can combine rewards and make your cash back a mile of fully transferable capital.
In order to qualify to return cash to miles, you need one of these miles of cards:

It is important to note that while you can convert cashback rewards into miles, Capital One doesn’t choose to transfer miles to cash at the same price.

How to maximize your Capital One card pairing
Ideally, you want to pair a fixed-rate income card with a card with a reward category. Since all eligible capital one mile money-making cards make money at a fixed price, your best bet is to combine one with the cards in the taste family as they win rewards for spending in a specific category.

For example, if you own a Capital One Venture Rewards card, it costs 2 miles per dollar on all purchases. If you also have a Capital One Mavor Cash card, you can get an impressive 3% in dining, entertainment, popular streaming services and grocery shopping.
The magic of this card pairing is that it allows you to earn 3 miles effectively on these bonus purchases.
Also, if you want more quality privileges like lounge access and an annual Capital One Travel Portal credit of $300, consider pairing the Venture X with Savor Cash.
