How much range should I give them?
Recruiters know you don’t know: Your value in the market
Now, whatever the bottom number is, it should be something you are willing to accept. So, this is always in the condition there. What I want to say is the $20,000 range works fine. They have poor reactions to the $50,000 range, but the $20,000 range works. Whether you are a $95,000 person at the moment or a $200,000 or over, it’s true. Therefore, the range should start with the premise that the minimum number is what you accept and you have to deliver the row.
I mentioned it to Jason before, but I haven’t encountered it, you know, you know what I just said. So, all they are going to do is assume that you tell the company that recruiters are effective jobs.
But from your point of view, you always have to give that rule, saying, “But, you know, I haven’t met my future boss, the team, and listened to more details about the roles and responsibilities and expectations. Can we speak after I actually interviewed the hiring manager and had a clear idea of it? ” “Yes, but I need a number. ” “Okay, I’m looking for the range between it.” But I think it clear: I don’t promise these numbers. To be sure, what I need to do is to think clearly about…”.
