In “Slow Light”, past and present merge in a unique, animated life of a unique protagonist – huge

Imagine that when you suddenly start seeing images from the past, as if the images are happening now, you are about seven years old. What if you can see everything? In Slow Light, a short film produced by Warsaw animation studio Kijek/Adamski, we track a person’s memories and vision – a person’s eyes are so dense that the light has passed seven years. When he sees people and objects right in front of him, the past is perceived in real time and deeply influences his experience.
The film was produced by Animoon and Cola Animation and was produced by a team of artists and animators who handcrafted small sets and design elements with colored paper and paint. You can even check out a short video production to illustrate some of the techniques the team uses. More information about Vimeo and Studio’s websites.
