Not long ago, I refuted the massive hype that other travelers have made about Hyatt plans. Of course, the plan is not as valuable as they say.
But I gained Hyatt Globalist status in 2021, mainly because of the program’s promotions and reduced requirements that allowed me to do this by staying at Hyatt Hotel for just 10 nights. Honestly, I haven’t looked back. Now my voice joins the chorus of other travelers who sing praises from the Hyatt World.
The program is not perfect and has achieved some negative action over the past few years, such as limiting honor bookings, limiting reward gifts and using the dynamic reward pricing of Mrs. Smith and Mrs. But whether you have a global globalization or just a member, there is a lot of value you can find through the world of Hyatt. That’s why I love this hotel loyalty program.
Hyatt Award Chart
Hyatt continues to differentiate itself and provide value through its reward charts. Even before I achieved the Hyatt Elite status, I discovered the value of the Hyatt Awards scholarship community, especially with the fact that many other hotel loyalty programs have implemented dynamic award pricing. World of Hyatt continues to shine with its off-peak, standard and peak reward night prices, and I think these award tables are the main reasons travelers should care about Hyatt program, no matter how long they stay with the program.
I am actively looking for Hyatt Class 1 properties, with standard rooms priced between 3,500 and 6,500 a.m. per night. I spent dozens of nights at a Class 1 property near Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport before and after visiting my family, and loved my stay at SignalFabriken earlier this year. Later this year, I will be staying at Amman and Hyatt Regency Cape Town, which are surprisingly Class 1 properties.
However, the value of the Hyatt Rewards Chart is not only used for Class 1 attributes. For example, I am considering staying in the Category 2 center Malta later this year at the island’s festival. Reminder that the standard room type for Hyatt Hotel Class 2 properties is from 6,500 to 9,500 o’clock per night.
Last year, I also provided great value on Hadahaa and Alila Kothaifaru Maldives in Park. I stayed on most dates and the standard room price was 25,000 per night. But even on peak dates, you only need to redeemed the standard room type of 35,000 Hyatt Points per night.
If you want to book a club room, standard suite, premium suite or all-inclusive property, it is also useful to redeem points at reasonable rates.

Suite Upgrade Award
You can earn Suite Upgrade Awards through the Hyatt Milestone Rewards program, starting with 40 eligibility nights or 65,000 base points. Each suite upgrade award allows you to confirm the standard kit you booked for up to seven nights. Most importantly, you can use these awards when booking a qualified paid or reward rate.
For example, earlier this year, I redeemed 17,500 points and suite upgrade awards to ensure the standard suite stayed at the Class 1 record hotel SignalFabriken for five nights. The standard rooms at this hotel are small, so confirming the reservation of the suite gave me confidence that there was enough space to live and work during my stay.
The Hyatt Suite upgrade award is much bigger than what other hotel loyalty programs offer. For example, the Marriott Hotel Night Upgrade Award requires you to use one award per night and will only be confirmed a few days before your stay. Especially now, members can upgrade awards using the Hyatt Suite when booking online, which have become an extremely valuable benefit.

Hyatt Honor Award
The Hyatt Honors Award is a benefit that truly distinguishes Hyatt World from other hotel loyalty programs. Like the Suite Upgrade Awards, you can earn 40 eligibility nights or 65,000 base points through the Hyatt Mileage Awards program to earn honorary awards in one calendar year.
Each Honor Award will unlock the experience of globalism for someone (or yourself) in a qualified paid or reward for up to seven nights. When enjoying the Honorable Awards, guests are considered globalists, so they will receive all on-site privileges (including free breakfast or lounge access and room upgrades), usually reserved for globalists.
So even if you can’t fully earn a globalist identity, you can earn honorary awards every year with 40 qualified nights or 65,000 base points. You can then use the honorary awards you receive to enjoy a global allowance for specific accommodation.
But if you already have a globalist status, honors and awards are still useful because they allow you to share your privileges with others. For example, I used honorary awards in special accommodations for friends, colleagues and family. Most importantly, now, whenever someone else uses one of my honorary awards, I receive an elite qualification night.
Customer-friendly policy
I also appreciate some of the other miscellaneous customer-friendly policies adopted by Hyatt Program. For example, you can quickly and easily award many types of Hyatt Awards to other members online. This includes honorary awards, so you can give honorary awards to honorary awards and then another person can book their stay.
You can also transfer the Hyatt Point to another member to book a reward. Although the process is a bit annoying as you have to fill out the paper form, the transfer points between accounts are still great. My husband recently signed The World of Hyatt Credit Cards (See rates and fees), so we sometimes transfer from his account to mine. After all, since I have a globalist status and he has a Discoverist status, we have to book with my account.
Finally, you can call Hyatt to use points to book someone else’s name. This may be convenient if you don’t want to transfer points but want to book accommodation for someone else.

Hyatt Globalists’ Privileges
Most top hotel elite identities offer some compelling stipends. But Hyatt Globalists’ privileges go beyond what other programs offer in several significant ways.
Well-defined breakfast benefits
Hyatt Globalists took the lounge to get the club lounge at Properties. However, if the property does not have a club lounge or lounge closed, globalists will receive “a free daily breakfast (including one or standard breakfast, buffet breakfast, juice and coffee, as well as taxes, taxes and service charges for each registered guest in the room) that can withstand up to two (2) adults and two (2) children’s maximum courses and conditions.
Especially after having property issues with other hotel loyalty programs, it is gratifying that it is not wanting to fully offer the benefits of elite breakfast, which makes Hyatt Globalist breakfast clear in terms of terms and conditions. Hyatt Regency also includes breakfast in the room with up to two adults and two children, which is also delighted.

Priority Room Availability and late checkout at 4 pm
Trains and planes do not always depart for standard checkout times sometimes. So I appreciate the benefits of providing 4p pm Checkout on request in most properties without much exclusion.
The main exclusions listed in the terms and conditions of the program are that “late checkout may offer a casino, Hyatt Resort and destination hotel at the hotel, while Hyatt Residences can offer a late checkout at the Hyatt Resort Club property.”
Again, when you arrive after a red-eye flight in a new city, refresh. However, check-in hours are usually around 3 or 4 pm, so I thank Globalization members for being able to register to the first available room (or qualified upgraded room type) in the category they booked on most properties (excluding Hyatt Vacation Clut clorties) (excluding Hyatt Vacation Club real estate).

My Hyatt Regency Hotel
Finally, while technically not a globalist interest, my Hyatt Hotel (you are a milestone reward for Hyatt) provides me with convenience and confidence that the problems I had during Hyatt will be resolved.
Although I don’t use dedicated concierge services often, I’m very well served at my Hyatt Hotel phone line. After the accommodation or hotel did not want to provide benefits that guaranteed globalization, I had an incorrect fee on my bill and encountered an incorrect fee and the phone agent quickly resolved my issue.
However, as Hyatt abandoned many U.S. phone agents in June, some reports suggest that if you call my Hyatt, the quality may be poor now.

Easily earn Hyatt Point
Finally, I like that I can easily earn Hyatt points. I spend 5 points per dollar on stays participating in Hyatt Hotels and 30% bonus points as a global member. I also spent $4 per dollar bonus points on Hyatt Hotels and Resorts when I paid for my payment The World of Hyatt Credit Cards. So I usually spend 10.5 points per dollar on Hyatt Hotels and Resorts purchases.
But I won’t get a lot of points in the accommodation. Instead, I bought Hyatt points during the sale and often transferred the chase points to Hyatt Hotels. After all, it’s easy for me to get over 2 cents per point when redeeming Hyatt Points, so it’s usually worth buying or transferring points to book a reward as needed.
Fortunately, I can earn a lot of chase points with the Ultimate Reward Card. Here are some welcome bonuses on the final rewards card that allows you to transfer your chase points to Hyatt (and other ultimate reward transfer partners):

Bottom line
As you can see, whether you are a loyal globalized member or an infrequent guest, there is value in the world of Hyatt Program. Especially since you can get Bilt Rewards and chase the Ultimate Rewards points to Hyatt, it’s easy to earn Hyatt points even if you don’t use the program often.
Although it is growing, the main drawback of Hyatt Hotel is its small footprint. But because you can get good value from the Hyatt world even if not your primary loyalty program, the footprint shouldn’t be the reason why you don’t take advantage of Hyatt. This is especially true if you have a friend or family member who can occasionally offer you a suite upgrade or a special accommodation honorary award.
