I miss my wife. She’s been walking for weeks, and while we talk a lot about Whatsapp (she’s in the UK Lake Country), it doesn’t just mean everything is different. Tomorrow, I finally started treatment after several weeks of preparation. Perform radiation therapy for 3 weeks a day for 15-20 minutes. I feel great, if I skip the newsletter for a week, you’ll see why.
People hired me without a BS job coach because I found that jobs became easier. Although I do criticism of my resume, I do not write my resume. I leave it to those experts. I am a person who helps thousands of people find jobs. I have free information Jobsearch.Community. Also, scroll down to receive my Wednesday email and provide job search advice. Being an insider at any level gives you access to all my video courses, books and guides to job search, ask me questions, and you can also receive job search coaches from me if you choose more than one of the lowest level options.

“7 salary negotiation strategy, your boss hopes you will never learn”
Negotiating your salary is not only asking for more money, but positioning yourself as an obvious choice. Whether you are starting a new job or trying to improve the salary and benefits you are in now, the same principles apply: preparation, strategy, and confidence to support it.
Here are seven validation tips to help you walk away more than you think.
1. Know who you are talking to
Find out exactly who has the ability to make decisions. Are you negotiating with HR or talking directly with the manager? If HR is a gatekeeper, talk to your boss first so they can support your case. Manager approval can change the rules of the game.
2. Script in advance
Negotiations usually go sideways because people let emotions take over. Determine exactly how you will present your number or package and then rehearse. Avoid the blur range provided by invitation low balls. If you want $65,000, don’t say “I want to be between $60 and $70.” You just allowed them to lower.
3. Expected retreat
Put yourself in another person’s seat. What concerns or objections may they raise? How can you refute them? Employers respect candidates who understand both sides of the table.
4. On time – every time
Being late (even if it’s actually) will kill your motivation before you start. Test your zoom, team or WebEx settings ahead of time. If something goes wrong, please remind them immediately.
5. Establish a rapport before diving
Small conversations are important. It sets the tone, breaks down the walls and builds chemistry. Smile, keep an open position, show real interest and fit their conversation style. People say yes to the person they like.
6. Prove that you are worth it
You can’t just explain You deserve more – you have to exhibit it. Highlight your records, results, and recommendations. Remind them about what you delivered last year. People pay for reliable performance, not potential.
7. Negotiations exceed money
If the budget is “locked”, the shift gears. Can they pay for commuting costs, add PTO days or provide remote work flexibility? Don’t be trapped by a consistent standoff – the competition field.
💡 Bottom line: If you don’t ask, you won’t get it. Employers are not readers, and no one will hand you more money with their inner kindness. Be prepared, stay calm, and ask.
