If you are Knowledge workersyou know, the people who work on laptops and fired from work on most days, I want to give you advice on your first post on LinkedIn and how to get people to mobilize to support you. I’m Jeff Altman, the Big Hunter. People hire me without BS Global Job Coaching and Career Advice Because I made the process of finding a job easier.
Your first post shouldn’t be a post “Boo-Hoo, I’m fired”. It should be one Acknowledgement Position You tagged people in your previous organization that you like, respect, and contributed to your success. By tagging them, all you can do is get back to them and encourage them to support you in your next role. You have publicly focused on their contribution to you and your success, and even if you are fired, that is not the point. A lot of people were fired, and it wasn’t out of bad performance. This is because the company makes decisions that suit their interests. Unfortunately, you are collateral damage as a result.
Acknowledge your past people, it makes them a little introverted. This also encourages them to do their best to try to help you. Give it a try. I hope you never have to do this, but if you have been fired, go back and do it even if you have posted what has been fired. This is a good choice for them. They feel good and they want to help.
