Capital One Ventureone Rewards Review: Full Details

Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card Overview

The unfamiliar Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card offers the same versatile redemption options as its sister cards, Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card and Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card – but the reward rate is lower and the allowance is less. The miles earned on this card can be transferred to more than 15 airlines and hotel partners at Capital One, or redeemed as a statement of eligible travel purchases. Card Rating*: ⭐⭐⭐

*Card ratings are based on the opinions of TPG editors and are not affected by the card issuer.

Whichever card you choose from the Capital One Venture family offers a simple income structure, valuable airline and hotel transfer partners, and easy-to-use rewards.

For those who prefer to choose and redeem rewards directly, you can also use mileage to cover almost all travel-related merchandise purchases, which are on the Capital One Ventureone Rewards Credit Card.

If you are not sure you want to pay the annual fee, consider this card as it does not charge a single one. We generally recommend that applicants have a credit score of 670 or higher to increase their chances of recognition.

The $100 travel credit is valid for one year and can be used for rent on one or more flights, hotels, car rentals and vacation rentals; however, the reward will not be awarded.

That’s significantly lower than the Venture Rewards card bonus, which currently costs $4,000 in the first three months of opening an account after 75,000 miles after purchase. According to TPG’s August 2025 valuation, the welcome bonus is worth $1,388.

However, the 20,000-mile bonus is still higher than the bonuses offered by many other less-wealth cards. In addition, the spending requirement for the VentureOne card is much easier than the risk card, with only $500 spent.

It is also important to note that Capital One’s application limitations are also important. Typically, Capital One only approves you one credit card every six months. Additionally, if you receive one on this card within the last 48 months, you will receive a welcome bonus.

Earn miles on a Ventureone in the capital

Ventureone’s revenue structure is similar to Venture Rewards at $95 a year, but it has a slightly lower return on spending per day.

You will earn:

  • Spend 5 miles per dollar on hotels, vacation rentals and rental cars booked through Capital One Travel Portal
  • Spend 1.25 miles per day

These are equivalent to the return on spending on eligible Capital One Travel Portal bookings (based on TPG’s August 2025 valuation), with a yield of 2.3% on all other purchases.

Not bad, but it is not the best return on spending every day. But the benefit of unlimited income rates is that you don’t have to keep up with multiple reward categories – prefer simple over maximum returns.

Redeem miles on a Ventureone in the capital

When it comes to redemption risk mileage, you have some options.

For most cardholders, the most straightforward approach is to use them to pay for a qualified purchase. You can log in to your Venture Rewards online account and redeem miles for 1 cent to get a statement about the latest eligible travel purchases you made with the card.

This includes many travel expenses that traditional miles will not cover, from Airbnb stops to Uber rides. No reward chart, power outage date or minimum redemption amount.

You can also redeem miles for Amazon purchases, Capital One Entertainment purchases, cash back and gift cards. However, these methods have less than 1 cent per mile redemption rate, so if you want to get the most value from your mileage, you should avoid any of these options.
