Tropical Storm Erin could be Hurricane Erin on Friday during a journey across the Atlantic Ocean.
The National Hurricane Center is currently predicting that the storm will turn north, curling from the U.S. East Coast without landing. The pasta model represents a collection of prediction paths generated by multiple computer models, which currently support these predictions.
However, the NHC predicts that the storm could bring inches of rain to Puerto Rico and encourages residents there to monitor Erin’s progress.

Tropical Storm Erin was in hurricane state as of Friday morning, with maximum wind speeds of 70 mph. It is currently located 520 miles east of the North Wind Islands at 17 mph, according to a forecast of 8 a.m. Eastern Time (NHC).
