I’m Jeff Altman, the big game hunter, and I want to talk to you today about building charm. Now, if you know some of my jobs, you know that I believe in the qualities that businesses are looking for when hiring. Ability is a kind of confidence, character, chemistry, charm, and to me, it is personal leadership.
Now, how do you add your charm? Why is charm important? Because usually, this is a huge difference between one candidate and another, and it attracts people’s emotions when you interview. So today I want to help you research with your charm and talk to you about building some techniques that make you more attractive in the interview. So the first thing is to prepare.
You know, there is a certain degree of uncertainty about this by an unprepared person. When is the interview uncertain? You must demonstrate complete mastery of your subject during the interview.
Therefore, you have to take the time to prepare. After all, athletes do it. Great people did it.
Do you think the public speakers are not going out and rehearsing before giving a speech? Why do you think you can wing and do a great job in every interview? Even if you are not hired, you want to create a positive impression because you never know when you will meet these people again. Therefore, preparation is to show one’s important components in a charming way. Another thing is to ask a good question.
If you arrive just for superficial issues, you won’t draw them in. One belief I mentioned this in another video I completed, the more they talk, the more they like you. You want them to speak as much as they can because their belief is that you are interested and want to be fully involved in your work.
Next, you will find out. . . This goes hand in hand with energy. Vibrant people show themselves in a charismatic way, and those who use their hands when speaking appear attractive. Now, I’ve been trying to illustrate this on a very small screen here to show my energy and passion with both hands.
Now, while speaking with my hands, I think clearly that you will never cover your face. When you use your hands, you get to this level and at the highest level, as doing anything that covers your face will be distracting. But keeping it at this level emphasizes the key points.
You noticed how I got here, but didn’t cover my face. It emphasizes the point you want to make, so you can show greater strength and enthusiasm for the work you do. This makes us full of passion.
You know, I know it’s easy to be passionate about what I love. You may have a hobby or family and you are happy about your career. Therefore, it is very important to be enthusiastic when talking about your work.
Finally, you know, optimistic. People are not attracted, and if people sound and pessimistic, they are not magnetic. When you talk to Downers, don’t you just want to get rid of them? Downers, who are totally negative, just want to blame someone else, complain, moan, pee and moan, forgive my language, guys.
You want to be the one who attracts people to your magnetic qualities. That’s the whole purpose of charm, the magnetic qualities that make you attractive to others. Adopting some of these technologies is an important way to make people want to hire you because they want to be with you.
Flat, boring, talking in a monotonous voice for 30 minutes just makes people want to fall asleep. Is that what you want to do? Of course not. You want to be the charismatic person, and even if they refuse, it’s hard for them to turn you down because they really like you.
