With Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines merged their loyalty programs into Atmos rewards, all existing Alaska Airlines credit cards are renamed under the Atmos umbrella with updated design and refresh benefits. The outstanding addition is the Atmos Rewards Summit Card, a new premium product designed to frequently use flyers that raise privileges and simplify rewards.
At an annual fee of $395, Atmos Rewards Summit Card Provide good travel benefits. Many of them will feel familiar with anyone who carries a coprand coprand card, but the summit sets themselves apart with the privilege of an elite identity designed to improve the travel day experience and accelerate forward.
It is recommended to get a good credit score of 670 or higher for the best approved odds. Let’s take a closer look at the Atmos Rewards Summit card to see if it’s worth the location in your wallet.

Atmos Rewards summit card welcome quote
New Atmos Rewards Summit Applicants can earn 100,000 bonus points and 25,000 global peer rewards after spending $6,000 or more purchases within the first 90 days of opening an account.
According to TPG’s August 2025 valuation, this welcome offer is worth $1,813. (TPG is currently evaluating the Atmos rewards point to the same emphasis we currently attach to Alaska Airlines miles.)
Bank of America issues this card, so you will most likely follow the 2/3/4 rule. This means you can only get two new U.S. bank cards in 30 days, three cards in 12 months and four cards in 24 months.

Atmos Rewards Summit Card Benefits
this Atmos Rewards Summit There are many benefits, including several airline-specific benefits from Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines, which can help offset the annual fee.
Travel benefits
- Free check bag: When you pay with Atmos Rewards Summit, you and up to six guests will enjoy free check bags on your Alaska and Hawaii flights in the same booking.
- Preferred boarding: Up to six guests on your same booking will receive preferred boarding in Alaska (now available) and Hawaii flights (this fall).
- Free sharing: You can send points to up to 10 other Atmos reward members for free. This is a very underestimated benefit that most cards don’t offer or charge. This can be a great benefit for families, because if you just want to give them a point of view, you can send your kids to a holiday or a loved one to go home.
- No change fee: No change fee is required when making changes to Alaska Airlines flights on the same day. The proceeds will expand to Hawaiian Airlines flights once both operators operate on the same booking system expected in 2026.
- Departure Delay Certificate: Cardholders are delayed by two or more hours of obtaining a $50 voucher from Alaska Airlines, or cancelled within 24 hours, regardless of the reason. The proceeds will also be extended to 2026 Hawaiian Airlines flights.
- Ruling fees on partner flights: You can save up to $12.50 in one-way when booking partner reward tickets with points.
Lounge entry
You will receive eight Alaska Lounge Passes per year (2 times a quarter). If you are a current Alaska Lounge member, you can share these passes with your friends and family. Additionally, as a cardholder, you will gain access to the mid-to-premium bar experience in the lounge during 2026.
To enter the pass, you must travel on the same day on Alaska, Hawaii, Oneworld or partner airline flight. The Standard Day Pass costs $65, but I’m giving Alaska Lounge access to $35 per visit.
Elite status improvement
- Anniversary Status Point: Obtain 10,000 status points on each card anniversary. This boost earns you half of the Atmos reward silver identity.
- Speed to the elite state: Earn 1 status point per $2 without a spending cap. By spending $20,000 on your Summit card, you get the Atmos Silver status (equivalent to OneWorld Ruby status). If you spend $60,000 on your card, you will get the Atmos Rewards Gold Status (equivalent to Oneworld Sapphire identity). This is the fastest way to be available on any airline credit card.
Global Companion Award
Each anniversary, you will receive a 25,000-point Global Companion Award and will receive a second 100,000-point Global Companion Award after spending $60,000 or more on your card. These awards are essentially a discount on the second award ticket on any Alaska, Hawaii or Partner Award ticket on any cabin class.
Suppose you and your partner hope to go on London next year at the recently announced business class flight to Heathrow Airport (LHR) at the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). If the price per ticket is 55,000 points, the main traveler will pay 55,000 points, while the companion flight will cost 30,000 points, totaling two seats (plus taxes and fees) to a total of 85,000 points.

I think the benefits are that the $395 annual fee for the card is reasonable. However, I would like to see a full Alaska Lounge membership and more statement credits. Credit cards from other top airlines share brands offer some sort of instructable points and fully access their respective airline lounges.

Earn points at the Atmos Rewards Summit
Atmos Rewards Summit Cardholders earn:
- 3 points per dollar purchased on Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines (according to our August 2025 valuation of 4.4% return)
- Spend 3 points per dollar on qualified dining purchases (4.4%)
- Spend 3 points per dollar on foreign transactions (4.4%)
- 1 point per dollar spent on all other purchases (1.45%)
If you have a qualified U.S. bank account, you can also get a 10% bonus bonus from all points you earned from purchasing a card.
This card is one of the few bonus benefits for everyday/non-carbon speed purchases you make abroad. I travel internationally many times a year and I strongly consider only considering these international income rates to add this card to my wallet.
While the bonus income from foreign transactions is outstanding, the revenue rates purchased by Alaska and Hawaiian Airlines are the standard for airline cards. The income in other daily expense categories is very boring, don’t bring me needles.

Redemption points on Atmos Rewards Summit card
and Atmos Rewards Summityou have multiple redemption options, but the best way is to redeem your points to cash in flights from Alaska, Hawaii, Euro World or partner airlines.
Atmos Rewards will now maintain Alaska’s old airline partner rewards list, so there are a lot of sweet redemptions.
For example, from 75,000 points, you can fly from the West Coast to Tokyo or Taiwan from Japan Airlines, in the ultra-modern, stylish business class of Starlux.
I also plan to continue using Atmos Rewards Points to book short-haul flights from American Airlines, 4,500 points from California.

Transfer points at the Atmos Rewards Summit
Unlike most common airline credit cards, Atmos Rewards Summit Access to the transfer partner. However, I do not recommend that transfer to these partners is a bad method of redemption. Atmos Rewards currently has five hotel transfer partners:
The only situation where you can recommend transferring an Atmos point to a hotel partner is that if you have a specific hotel redemption you can book and need to lower your balance.

Which card competes with the Atmos Rewards Summit?
The biggest competitor Atmos Rewards Summit There are other common Atmos reward cards. However, if you are looking for greater flexibility with redemption rewards or unlimited lounge access, you may be better suited for the average travel reward card.
- If you want a lower annual fee: this Atmos™ rewards on stage visa credit card There are affordable $95 year fees and offer privileges such as annual companion fares and bonus income from Alaska and Hawaiian Airlines flights. - If you don’t want an annual fee: this BiltMastercard® (See Interest Rates and Fees) Earn points in multiple bonus categories, you can earn points with no transaction fees (up to 100,000 points per calendar year). Cardholders must use five cards during each declaration period to earn points (see Rewards and Benefits). Is the Atmos Rewards Summit card worth it?
New Atmos Rewards Summit Card If you travel frequently on Alaska or Hawaiian Airlines or internationally, it’s worth it. It earns valuable reward currency, provides access to the lounge, and provides unparalleled income abroad. But, if you don’t need advanced features, it’s $95 Atmos Rewards Rises Probably a better fit.
Bottom line
Atmos Rewards Summit Cards offer a unique value proposition. If you travel abroad frequently, the impressive revenue rate of international purchases is eye-opening and innovative.
If you want to earn Atmos points, get elite status quickly and travel abroad frequently, this is a great card for you. Whether you’re riding on Alaska or Hawaiian Airlines regularly, this new card should be on your radar – of course, it’s mine.
