Atmos San Diego promotion offers elite identity and additional points

Atmos Rewards is a new joint loyalty program program for Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines a week ago, but the airlines are not wasting time to launch new promotions.

Atmos Rewards is offering fast elite status and earning double points on flights in and out of San Diego.

The first promotion is to provide an accelerated avenue for Atmos Elite identity. When you complete 10 qualified flight segments, you can complete only 5 qualified flight segments (lowest level) and earn only 5 qualified flight segments and Atmos Gold (next level) to get Atmos Silver status (lowest level).

But there is a trap: To qualify, the flight department must use San Diego International Airport (SAN) as the original or destination airport.

Additionally, qualified flights must be sold and operated by Alaska Airlines or Hawaiian Airlines, or operated by Horizon Air or Skywest on behalf of Alaska. Flights with CodeShare flights, other partner airlines (including OneWorld Partners), reward tickets and Saver (X) fares (also known as the basic economic fare) are not eligible.

Flight segments must also be credited to your Atmos Rewards account to count to the Elite Status Quick Track, so be sure to add an Atmos Rewards number (same as your old mileage plan number) when booking.

To start your journey to speed up to Atmos status, sign up by March 20, 2026. Then, complete the qualified flight segment between October 1, 2025 and March 31, 2026.

Once obtained, your promotional status will be valid until December 31, 2026 – so the sooner you get it, you will get the benefits of a shiny new identity. Both Atmos Silver and Atmos Gold members receive valuable stipends such as seat upgrades, preferred boarding bags, free check bags, and bonus points earned on flights. Additionally, on American Airlines and other partner flights, you will be granted the privilege of Oneworld Elite identity (OneWorld Ruby from Atmos Silver Minders, OneWorld Sapphire from Atmos Golden Members).

Obviously, this offer is effortless for frequent travelers based on San Diego or nearby. Even if you are not, if you can fly to San Diego at least five times between October and March, it is still a relatively simple way to reach Atmos Elite status.

Atmos Rewards’San Diego Two-point Points Promotion

Whether you decide to use the above promotions to get Atmos Silver or Atmos Gold Sutition, you can double the qualifying flights and qualifying flights from San Diego in your second promotion.

In order to obtain a double point quote, the flight must comply with all the above criteria:

  • They must be sold and operated by Alaska Airlines or Hawaiian Airlines, or operated by Horizon Air or Skywest on behalf of Alaska.
  • They must be credited to your Atmos Rewards Account.
  • They must be held between October 1, 2025 and March 31, 2026.

Qualified routes include uninterrupted flights between San Diego and the following airports:

  • Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL)
  • Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS)
  • Boise Airport (BOI)
  • O’Hare International Airport (ORD)
  • Denver International Airport (DEN)
  • Fresno Yosemite International Airport (fat)
  • Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL)
  • Harry Reed International Airport (LAS)
  • John Kennedy International Airport (JFK)
  • Orlando International Airport (MCO)
  • Phoenix Skyport International Airport (PHX)
  • Reno Tahoe International Airport (RNO)
  • Sacramento International Airport (SMF)
  • Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC)
  • San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
  • San Jose Mine Festival International Airport (SJC)
  • Tampa International Airport (TPA)

According to the terms of the offer, “Double Points are based only on flight mileage.” This means you will earn 2 points per mile in total, rather than the usual per mile per mile for most flights. For flights below 500 miles you get at least 500 points per flight and you get at least 1,000 points in total.

The reward points earned through this promotion are not considered elite status.

If you are planning to pursue Atmos Reward Elite status with a quick promotion, you’d better get a double score when you get twice. Even if you can’t reach at least five qualified San Diego flight fields to earn status, you can still earn double points on any San Diego flight between October and March.

But you have to register for promotion separately. Do this by March 20, 2026.
