Feeling the sting of refusing to work? In this quick #short, I share a powerful and short framework that rebounds immediately and strategically. Forget the general “stay positive” advice. This is a viable reset that helps you process emotions intelligently and rotate.

Just received a rejection email? I know this feeling. But, before turning off the laptop and letting the disappointment pour in, give me a minute to 60 seconds. Because as someone who has to convey this message to people, as someone who has experienced it myself, I will provide you with a professional framework to process this message and move on. I am Jeff Altman,,,,, Large game hunter. People don’t have employed my BS job coaches and career advice worldwide because the process of finding a job and being successful is easier.

First, Adopt the 90-second rule. You get 90 seconds of feeling that makes you feel frustrated, angry, hurt, disappointed. Make yourself feel it. If you need to set a timer, and when it disappears, the emotions are acknowledged and you will get strategic. That’s it, 90 seconds, don’t be addicted.

second, Conduct a reality check. Rejection is almost never about your value; it’s a mismatch to the business needs. I’ve seen a million times: Internal candidates have taken positions, budgets have been cut, and another has more specific experiences that are not negotiable and completely relevant. This is a business transaction, not a personal ruling. Leave the result.

at last, Action pivot now. Open the file now. Write down one thing you can improve on the interview process, only one. Maybe it is perfecting your answer to “tell me yourself.” Then, identify a new target company with only one, and even more in line with your goals. They were studied for 10 minutes. The truth is that rejection is not a stop sign, but a data. The key data you just collected will help you get closer to the correct quote and use it now.
